MANGOCHI-(MaraviPost)-Celebrated political giants, Minister of Transport and Public Works Muhammed Sidik Mia and Deputy Minister of Lands and Urban Development Abida Mia last Saturday echoed the promise to the people of Mangochi West Constituency of government’s commitment to develop the area.

As it happened, while Sidik Mia who is also Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Vice President was at Chimvu Primary School in Group Village Headman (GVH) Kaiche 1, Abida Mia who is also Member of Parliament (MP) for Chikwawa Nkombezi Constituency was at Saludi Primary School in GVH Kaiche 1.

Unveiling Simeon Harrison at both campaign rallies as MCP candidate in the forthcoming Nov 10, 2020 by-election, the ministers assured the constituents that the youthful candidate who is apparently the people’s favourite, has the blessing of the party and its leadership.

Figuratively, they likened Harrison to the bridge through which significant development from government would pass through to reach the people.

Captured in both rallies were powerful speakers who also are MCP National Executive (NEC) Members; Gerald Kazembe and Lawrence Malemia.
