BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The main shareholder in Tonse administration Malawi Congress Party (MCP) youths in Lilongwe and Blantyre are demonstrating against their leaders for failing to fulfill promises made to them.

The youth are demanding explanation from the party leadership for being sidelined in Tonse administration.
In a petition addressing to MCP Youth director, Richard Chimwendo Banda dated December 12, 2020, the youths have raised five issues needed answers including nepotism (Chakwera appointments only relatives and friends), jobs not provided to them, no loans provided, unpaid services provide to MCP Vice President Sidik Mia during campaign.

The concerns have been signed by MCP youth leadership addressing to President Chakwera (MCP leader), Mkaka (MCP Secretary General) and Simbi (MCP Southern chairperson).
The party leadership is yet to respond to youths concerns.

MCP youth concerns come barely five months after Chakwera tool reins of power from former President Peter Mutharika of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
