One can’t talk of prophets in Malawi without meaning Prophet Austin Liabunya, him who is popular for his controversial but accurate National Prophecies about Malawi and of late has extended his prophecies to other nations.
Liabunya came in the limelight in September 2012 when his prophecy was intensively carried by MaraviPost prophesying about the just passed May 20, 2014 elections in Malawi which stated that Peter Mutharika would led the then opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) into victory thereby defeating the then incumbent President Joyce Banda.
This was shocking as Joyce Banda had just been few months in office after she took over after President Bingu Wa Mutharika’s death.
In this Prophecy, Liabunya was so accurate describing how events leading to the elections would unfold. For example, he mentioned that the leading minister would be made a running mate by the then incumbent President Joyce Banda and this came into pass.
Liabunya even dropped a hint that the then Vice President (Khumbo Kachali) would endorse the opposition leader who was going to win the election (Peter Mutharika). And this came into pass when a week before elections, Malawians saw and heard Khumbo Kachali passionately endorsing the incumbent President Professor Peter Mutharika.
Liabunya even said that the winner (Mutharika) was to be declared so after struggles as some parties would claim that they too have won the election and this was to lead into court battles. This also happened and even today, MCP is still at pains to accept that they lost to DPP.
He then mentioned that the leader, him he said changed denominations for political reasons, was to emerge the winner. This was like a video clip and Malawians know that it came into pass just like the man of God had said.
Following what happened; Malawians today listen to him when he opens his mouth. You ignore his prophecies at your own risk.
Just recently, Prophet Liabunya made another controversial Prophecy stating that Peter Mutharika should prepare to leave state house before or in 2019 as the current leader of opposition Dr Lazarus Chakwera and his Malawi Congress Party (MCP) will form the next government.
And Liabunya’s recent prophecies that this current government will be broke, that it will be full of unfulfilled promises with numerous strikes happening; that government institutions will be shut down, that a secret group within his (Mutharika’s) government is working hard day in day out to frustrate his government and that people in this government are but busy plotting against one another are prophecies which are currently coming to pass.
On the international scene, Liabunya said neighboring Zambia should prepare to have a youthful President. For Zimbabwe, Liabunya said her leader; Comrade Robert Mugabe will have his biological clock fail to tick beyond 2015. He will die. We are yet to witness these developments!
And today, 17th December, 2014, this man of God, Prophet Austin Liabunya, is celebrating his birthday and he emailed, MaraviPost, the below statement for people to have an opportunity of who he is and his mission on earth.
PROPHET AUSTIN LIABUNYA’S BIRTHDAY MESSAGE TO THE WORLD
Hello Everyone,
Today 17th of December is a special day in my life, the day I celebrate that I was born into this world with a great vision for the whole world beginning from Malawi.
My birthday to me means God has added another year for more fire in preaching and taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth; it’s another opportunity for me to utilize the GIFT He gave me so that on the last day I bring its profit back to Him and He says, “Well done thou good and faithful servant…enter thou into the joy of thy Lord!” (Matthews 25:21). And I promise that I will do it and that the world hasn’t seen anything yet!
The bible in Hosea 12 verse 13 tells us that when God was to deliver a Nation, He sends out a prophet and by the same prophet He preserves the Nation and God told us in Deutoronomy 18 verse 15, that this Prophet will be raised from among us and He charges us to listen to him. Which means the biggest mistake a Nation can do is to disobey her prophets.
That’s why every Nation that does this can never prosper because the anger of God is provoked and for this cause I always bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, making mention of all countries of the world in my prayers that they may understand the message of this age which is prophetic according to Joel 2 verse 28 and to understand the message of prophets by the SPIRIT OF GOD so that they don’t criticize them because of their confusion of false prophets that the bible talks about.
It takes our knowledge of the scriptures by the Holy Ghost for us to know who is true and who is not. But if we don’t take it by the Spirit of God we will find ourselves fighting against God by coming against His prophets confusing with false ones. But this I ask you, don’t judge before time, leave it to God as the bible tells us in Matthews 13 verse 25 – 30.
Sometimes even myself I have had criticism from some folks and my message to them is that time has come that we have to believe that God who spoke through Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc is still speaking now. They should not be deceived with the coming of false prophets that the bible talks about because it’s clear on how to know them.
Firstly the bible says in Matthew 7 verse 20, you will know them by their fruits and this means what is written on Deutoronomy 13 verse 1 and 2 and Deutoronomy 18 verses 21 and 22.
Secondly the bible says they will not confess that Jesus came in the flesh, you can see that in 1 John 2 verse 22, 1 John 4 verse 1-3 and 2 John 1 verse 7. In other words, they will not preach Jesus.
And if you come to Prophet Austin, does he look like one? I don’t think so. How can a false prophet preach Jesus and make people born again? I don’t think a member of opposition party can be campaigning against his own party. What do you think?
And an amazing thing is that some people who talk against Prophet Liabunya and his prophecies are people who have not even seen him or heard him preach in person, this is ignorance on rampage.
How can one criticize someone you don’t know? But any way, I don’t wonder because they even did the same to our Lord Jesus and He told us that they will also do the same to us in John 15 verses 18 – 20.
But He then told us in John 17 verse 14 that the world will do that against us because of His Word that we carry.
He said if we carried the word of the World, the world would love us.
Whether I am a false prophet or not, you can come when I visit Malawi next week to host my church, BSI Ministries’s CROSSOVER NIGHT SERVICE at Music Crossroads Centre, Area 23 Lilongwe that is on 31 December night so that you can see me and hear me live, then you can go ahead judge who I am and you have to remember that in John 7 verses 45 – 51, the Bible itself forbids us from judging anyone before we hear them, see them and know them live. So hear me live and know who I really am.
