MK200,000 up for grabs for dancers in Nyasa Int Film Festival promo

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Nyasa International Film Festival has thrown MK200, 000 to dancers to battle it out in IPITE dance competition.

Launched on September, 5, 2024, Festival Coordinator Cilimoni Kuipa told The Maravi Post that the competition aims to promote creativity and talent among dancers.

Kuipa therefore states the terms and conditions for participating in the competition including:

  1. Eligibility: The competition is open to individuals of all ages and dance backgrounds.
  2. Dance Challenge: Participants must create a dance video using the song “Zida” by Mazibayao Kamata.
  3. Video Submission:
    a. Record a video of your dance performance to the specified song.
    b. Share the video to 0999600142 via WhatsApp.
  4. Promotion:
    a. After submitting your video, you will receive a unique link to promote your entry.
    b. Share the link on your social media platforms to encourage voting.
  5. Voting:
    a. The winner will be determined by public voting through the provided link.
    b. One vote per person.
  6. Prize: The winner will receive K200,000.
  7. Judging Criteria:
    Creativity and originality of the dance routine deemed fit by the general public.
  8. Ownership:
    a. By participating, you grant the Nyasa International Film Festival permission to use your video for promotional purposes.
    b. You retain ownership of your video content.
  9. Deadline: Submission deadlines is 30th September 2024
  10. Disqualification: The Nyasa International Film Festival reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the terms and conditions or is deemed inappropriate.

“By participating in the K200,000 IPITE Dance Competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions,” adds Kuipa.
