“Mlaka Maliro is a great leader”- Prophet Bushiri

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Leader of the Enlightened Christian Gathering ( ECG) Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has described one of his pastors who has recently resigned from serving his ministry, Mlaka Maliro as a great leader.

In astatement issued on Tuesday March 15, 2022, ECG Spokesperson Ephraim Nyondo said, Busishiri is satisfied that in the three years of serving as a pastor in the church branches of South Africa , Mlaka Maliro has showed great leadership skills as both a minister of the gospel and an administrator.

“In this vein, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri wishes pastor Mkaka well and and confidentiality resolute that wherever pastor Mlaka goes, he will achieve greatness,” said Nyondo.

Nyondo said, Bushiri also considers Mlaka’s new song ” Vinyo Watha” to be a great song and that he loves it immensely.

He said, Bushiri understands that when a great composer such as Mlaka sits down to create a song, he gets inspired by so many things.

“The prophet feels that whatever inspired by Pastor Mlaka to make the song, he strongly believes that his motives must be respected,” Nyondo said.

Clarifying on what has led Mlaka Maliro to resign as a pastor at ECG, Nyondo said, there were disciplinary issues involving his wife and she was summoned to appear before the Church Directors in Lilongwe.

This forced Mlaka to follow his wife in Malawi and after noticing the details of disciplinary issues his wife was summoned for, he decided to step down.

Before resigning, Pastor Mlaka Maliro was the National Pastor for ECG Jesus Nation Church in Eswatin, formerly Swaziland.
