ISLAMABAD-(MaraviPost)-At least 30 killed after a bomb went off at Kucha Risaldar mosque when worshipers gathered for Friday prayers.
Peshawar police chief, Muhammed Ejaz Khan, confirmed the news adding that the violence started when two armed attackers opened fire on police outside the mosque.

Al Jazeera quoted Khan saying: “We are in a state of emergency and the injured are being shifted to the hospital. We are investigating the nature of the blast but it seemed to be a suicide attack”.
Khan also said dozens more have been ferried to the nearby hospitals and many of the injured are in critical condition.
One policeman was also reportedly killed while several others are critically injured when two attackers opened fire at the policemen standing guard while attempting to enter the mosque.
Commenting on the matter, the Interior minister Sheikh Rashid has condemned the attack adding that he has directed the provincial chief secretary and inspector general of police to submit a report immediately.
In recent months, Pakistan has experienced an increase in violence and dozens of military personnel have been killed in scores of attacks on army outposts along the border with Afghanistan.
The recent attack is one of the deadliest in years on Pakistan’s Shi’ite minority which has long been targeted by Sunni Muslim Islamist militants including the Taliban.
