LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Multichoice Malawi has accredited Directto Space to offer the company’s services at Bwandilo in Area 47, Lilongwe.
The opening of the satellite service center at Bwandilo will reduce mobility costs among customers who usually travel to Area 9 to seek Multichoice services including DSTV and GoTv.
MultiChoice Malawi’s Head of Sales Edwin Henry, Banda expressed satisfaction for entering into a partnership with Directto Space as one of its accredited agencies.
“The deal brings MultiChoice Malawi’s customers closer to DStv and GOtv services with branch operations and a place where customers can easily find all important accessories.
“Directto Space adds to the list of MultiChoice Malawi’s Mega dealers who restock and distribute MultiChoice Malawi accessories. This is one of the dealers locally empowered to create jobs through their operations,” lauds Banda.
He added, “We began this journey on the July 12, 2024 when we opened a branch stop agency in Zomba with one of our partners. We are still continuing. Last week, we opened a branch in Blantyre within the post office premises where customers can get our services. Today, we are opening this branch here at Bwandilo with Directto Space company.
“Next is Mzuzu, where we’ll be opening a branch with. We are moving on to the districts. We want our customers to get convenience and ease within our services”.
Banda lauds further, “This is very significant as we always care about the convenience of the customer how they get access to our services.
“We find this convenient because customers don’t need to travel much distance for them to come to us. Not only is this a branch that will be serving customers, but it is also a mega dealer office where they distribute decoders to all our agents that we distribute with”.
Speaking during the grand opening of Directto Space’s central region operations at Bwandiro on Friday, October 4, 2024, Deputy Mayor of Lilongwe Ruth Chingwalu commended MultiChoice Malawi for showing commitment to community engagement.
Chingwalu said the opening of the branch will create job opportunities to youths and the development of the city.
The deputy Mayor added that the partnership aligns with the company’s Malawi Ndi Kwathu theme, which emphasizes growth, optimism, and the pursuit of a prosperous future for the country.
In his remarks, Directto Space Director Matthews Winga assured Mulchoice customers for quality service at the facility.
“We have been offering quality services throughout these years. This is the reason MultiChoice Malawi trusted us. Therefore, I can give an assurance that this service center will provide its best to customers”, assures Winga.
