BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)—Typical of Malawi politicians who are always hungry for money, some of the top officials of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) are having secret political discussions with prominent Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, Maravi Post has discovered.
Impeccable sources have confided with Maravi Post that the top officials who are led by a senior cabinet minister are pledging support to Bushiri who is believed to be harbouring ambitions to stand for presidency in 2019.
The officials are pocketing millions from the young billionaire in exchange with DPP secrets.
“They have been offered with money they can’t resist. As of now their work is to learn all the secrets of DPP and sell them to the Prophet. If people want the truth about corruption in DPP, they will know it in 2019,” said the source.
The source said that Brown Mpinganjira is the one who has facilitated the move which is expected to bring downfall of DPP come 2019.
Bushiri, in collaboration with Former President Joyce Banda is reportedly to have formed a party which will be named Enlightened Christian Party (ECP).
