The wait for Shaka iLembe Season 2 is finally over. DStv’s Mzansi Magic channel will premiere the highly anticipated season this Sunday evening.
According to Susan Mtegha, MultiChoice Malawi communications specialist, Season 2 promises an intense exploration of the influential women who shaped Shaka’s life.
Thematically, Season 2 is centered around “Women Who Raised A King: Behind Shaka iLembe’s Powerhouse Matriarchy,” highlighting the pivotal roles of matriarchal figures.
The talented cast includes Nomzamo Mbatha as Queen Nandi, Sthandiwe Kgoroge as Shaka’s grandmother, and Dawn Thandeka King as his great aunt. Desiree Markgraaff oversees the show’s creative direction as executive producer.
This Sunday’s premiere promises captivating storylines and performances that showcase the epic tale of Shaka iLembe.
