BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The National Bank of Malawi (NBM) has demonstrated its commitment to promoting women’s empowerment through sports by allocating K430 million to the National Women’s Football League.
This sponsorship is part of the bank’s larger K1.6 billion investment in Malawi’s sports development.
The bank’s initiative aims to support and develop women’s football in Malawi, promoting female participation in sports.
NBM Chief Executive Officer Harold Jiya highlighted the bank’s dedication to gender inclusivity and empowerment, stating that sports teach discipline, which aligns with NBM’s mission.
