Nicholas Dausi threatens to expose Chakwera’s evil secret if he continues attacking Pres. Mutharika

Government spokesperson Nicholas Dausi who is also the Minister of Information has threatened to expose the evil secret of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and its current President Lazarus Chakwera especially if the party’s leadership continue attacking President Peter Mutharika on problems rocking the country.

The MCP leader has been attacking President Mutharika for failing Malawians particularly in dealing with the problems the country is facing.

Chakwera described the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) government and President Mutharika leadership as the most failure in the country’s history.

However, Dausi backed government and Mutharika saying the problems rocking the country are beyond their control.

He said the problems rocking the country are not because of Mutharika and DPP but the former ruling People’s Party and climate change.

“It is a total insult to the country’s President especially for blaming him for the problems affecting Malawians. Everyone knows the root cause but Chakwera and his party are busy accusing President Mutharika so that Malawians should be against him,” said Dausi.

He said Chakwera should not take himself  and his party as innocent because they have evil secret.

“I was once an MCP member and I know the evil secret of Chakwera and his party. So if he continues attacking President Mutharika I shall expose them,” he warned.

MCP officials are yet to issue a comment on the matter.

Recently, some senior Chewa Chief also attacked Chakwera for the same issue and demanded that he should apologize.

However, some political experts and Malawians have been supporting Chakwera for his remarks on issues affecting the country.

Dausi, while working at National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), was known for fabricating stories aimed at denting the critics of the Mutharika administration.
