LAGOS-(MaraviPost)-Pastor Dare Adeboye, the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide, Enoch Adeboye, has died at the age of 42.
The Head of Media and Public Relations of RCCG, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi confirmed the tragedy on Thursday morning.
Dare Adeboye was discovered dead in his home on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State shortly after officiating a service the previous night at one of the RCCG branches in the state.
According to Punch news, Dare retired to bed soon after the service and he reportedly asked not to be disturbed.
He was discovered later unresponsive the next morning by his wife, Temiloluwa Adeboye, who informed other pastors in the church to pray for him but it was all to no avail.
In 2020, when Dare celebrated his 42nd birthday and his father described him as the first miracle child. Before his demise, he was the assistant pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35.
His father, Enoch Adejare Adeboye has not commented anything on the matter but the deceased’s brother, Leke Adeboye shared a posted about the loss on his Facebook page.
