Petroleum Importers Limited (PIL) has made a significant contribution to the healthcare sector in Malawi by donating over K15 million worth of medical drugs to St. John’s Hospital in Mzuzu.
The donation aims to enhance health service delivery at the institution, which handles over 200 patients in the outpatients department and admits more than 40 patients daily.
PIL General Manager Martin Msimuko presented the donation to the facility, citing the challenges health facilities face in providing quality healthcare services in the country as the motivation behind the gesture.
