President Peter Mutharika is so lost to facts and entirely unacquainted to Malawi laws.

On Monday, June 1, 2020 Mutharika during his first public appearing on campaign trail at home district Thyolo claimed that the Judiciary has only two (2) judges with PhDs: (Jane Ansah and another person) and that a PhD holder cannot fail a task in their field.

Apparently, Mutharika is lost to the following simple facts about names of PhD holders on the bench: Justice Dr. Chifundo Kachale, Justice Dr. Michael Mtambo, Injustice Dr. Ansah and Justice Prof. Dr. Redson Kapindu.

We can even see that Mutharika’s claim that Dr. Jane Ansah is the most learned judge on the bench is entirely illusory.

Dr. Kapindu is an academic professor of law. In my estimation, Mutharika is being lied to big time by those who are called his advisors and he believes in those lies.

I would not be surprised to find out that among those who lied to him about the academic profiling of the judges is the so-called Attorney General.

He has demonstrated sufficiently that he is such a serial liar and that his competence – if he once has it – has so far depleted to zero.

Mutharika echoed this stupid imagination that was first exhibited by the so-called Attorney General claiming that the judgment was not based on evidence presented before the court.

I have no better words to describe this stupid comment from both the so-called AG and the President.

One thing that stands out clear is that both the so-called AG and the President had no slightest interest and energy left in them to go through the Rulings of both the High Court and the Supreme Court on the matter.

But we understand them. Where would they get the energy?

But proceeding to comment on something that you are not familiar with is one of the academic blunders that exhibit both the top-layer and bottom-layer foolhardy.

Let me end with the following emphasis: It has been demonstrated in Malawi that some PhD holders including professors are so dubious and unworthy their title. Jane Ansah is, undoubtedly one such.

Mutharika himself has also demonstrated that his law professorship is entirely accidental. The old man does not have the slightest familiarization with the laws of Malawi.
