LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Population Service International (PSI Malawi) has rebranded it’s name to Family Health Service (FHS) targeting the local masses.
The branding coincided with the launch of the institution’s first-ever strategic plan launch in the capital Lilongwe on Friday, June 12, 2024.
The strategic plan focuses on consistency in service delivery, remaining connected to the people, and enhancing collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the health sector.
Speaking during the launch deputy Health Minister of Health Halima Daudi commended FHS for coming up with the strategy saying it will help the government in the implementation of the Health Sector Strategic Plan III.
Daudi said as a policy holder government will fully support FHS to accomplish the set agenda of empowering Malawians for healthier lives through innovative health leadership.
FHS executive director Jephta Mtema says the strategic plan which runs from 2024 to 2026 will help respond to government priorities in the sector.
Mtema added that the new brand aims at identifying local needs towards the organization over a long time.
“FHS will compliment the ministry of health by making strides in consistence delivery. with the FHS brand, we will be consistent, get closer to the people and stay connected” assures Mtema.
