LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi Congress Party (MCP)’s Real Tambala Stars director Dickson Chatanga has been fired for stealing money from members within the party in the name of helping them to secure lands.
Real Tambala Star Member, Joseph Tilibe Gideon told The Maravi Post in an interview that Chatanga dubbed many members including Msundwe freedom fighters team which he promised to buy land for them.
Gideon said people from Msundwe made the contributions and the former Director corrected the money but nothing has been done till date.
‘Its very unfortunate that a well reputable man like Chatanga stole from the local community. This man used his position wrongly affecting innocent people.
Efforts to speak with the Former Chairman proved futile as his phone went an answered.
Tambala Real Stars was launched two months ago by MCP’s Youth Director Richard Chimwendo Banda.
MCP is the main partner in Tonse alliance government.
