MISHAWAKA-(MaraviPost)-USA police at Mishawaka have arrested a Malawian man identified as Kalekeni Linderie for suspected shooting dead girl friend’s sister Noria Sendeza Mtambalika in a shooting crash.
According to Mishawaka’s press, the suspected was trying to shoot the girl friend identified as Mundi Sendeza, a daughter to Malawi’s deputy minister of defence, Jean Sendeza.
Sources told The Maravi Post that Linderie was mad at his girl friend for ending their relationship abruptly.
The girlfriend has been hospitalised while the sister died on the spot.
“St. Joseph County Metro Homicide has arrested someone for the shooting of two women who were involved in the rollover crash scene Friday. The crash happened near the intersection of Edison and Hickory in Mishawaka.
“The incident happened around 3 p.m. Friday. Officers found two women inside the rolled over vehicle. Both of the women had been shot. One of the women died at the hospital, while the other was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound”, reports Wndu online paper.
The suspect Lindeire, 37 will be charged for murder and attempted homicide.
According to Family and friends, Kalekeni Lindeire, 37 moved to the US about three years ago. Family is baffled as to what would have made him take a drastic action.
