In July of this year in a bizarre story Kenneth Msonda PP spokesperson was involved in a brawl with a truck driver. Both Ken Msonda and the truck driver sustained visible injuries. The story gets more intriguing after the police got involved.
When The Maravi Post reached out to Kenneth Msonda who is one of the most accessible politicians in the country, He directed us to his response he had posted on his Facebook page:
However at that time our friend Kenneth Msonda who we are very fond of accused his misfortunes on the DPP government. Our friend Kenneth Msonda ignored the fact that he was the one who was wielding the Panga and responsible for almost dismembering another person for simply blocking his car with his truck.
Our friend Kenneth blamed all this on the DPP because the Police dared to take a statement from him. Many witnesses to the incident said the Peoples party spokesperson was acting crazy, but no Kenneth who sees DPP spooks everywhere instead of taking responsibility like he should have done for his behavior accused the Police who appeared to have accorded him differential treatment as matter of fact, of being directed from above.
Once again Kenneth Msonda is accusing the hand of the DPP because according to his Facebook rantings, Peoples Party Director of Youth Southern Province Lemani Chapitapansi was arrested on Friday last week for parking his vehicle at Blantyre Police Station; detained, charged for trespassing and released on bail.
He was summoned to report at Southern Region Police headquarters yesterday and is to appear in Court at Chichiri this morning at 8.30am.
“Our reformed Police Service doing what they know best; instructions from above”, writes Msonda.
Kenneth Msonda expects Peoples Party leaders to break the law and not pay any price. Was Lemani Chapitapansi parked illegally or not?
I think Kenneth Msonda has not yet accepted defeat and still thinks he can continue to flaunt the law as he did when the Peoples party reigned supreme. Please before it is too late someone wake our friend Kenneth Msonda from his deep slumber and gently break the news before him that this is August 18th 2015 and Amayi no longer reign supreme. As a matter of fact his peoples Party is just a skeleton of itself with half its senior members abandoning it for greener pastures.
Kenneth Msonda please wake up from deep slumber and learn that the dreaded DPP is now in power. It’s not a dream friend Peter Mutharika is now the President of Malawi.
