DURBAN-(MaraviPost)-A 41-year-old Durban based pastor of Anglican church of southern Africa has been gunned down at his residence on Monday night by unknown gunmen.
The church’s spokesperson Ndabezinhle Sibisi confirmed the tragedy on Tuesday July 7.
According to Daily Sun report, the victim who has been identified as Pastor Sandiso Sithole was murdered at his mission house when he was entering the house by unknown man who seemingly had waited for him at the gate.
Prior to his death, his wife Nomthandazo Sithole who was a teacher at Qinisweni primary school was reportedly found dead in her car two weeks ago and the matter has been in police hands.
Commenting on the two incidents, police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele has condemned the brutal killings in strongest terms.
He has however disclosed that police will put enough resources to investigate the incidents and bring the culprits to book.
