Chelsea Handler Calls Out Tom Brady as a ‘Total Dud’ Who Is Not ‘Hot’

Chelsea Handler has a type — and it’s not legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

“I saw that picture,” Handler, 50, said during a Wednesday, January 7, appearance on Sirius XM’s Page Six Radio while discussing Brady’s New Year run in with Alix Earle. “I have no interest in Tom Brady. I don’t find him dynamic, hot, interesting, or fun. I find him so boring.”

The comedian continued, “I think he’s a total dud. I couldn’t, I mean, so I don’t have any thoughts.”

Handler added that she doesn’t know anything about Earle, 25, either, so their potential connection doesn’t appeal to her.

“I don’t really know that [much] about Alix Earle. So, I don’t care to answer your question. Do I need to expound?” she quipped.

Handler shared that she’s also not interested in men who appear to only care about vanity.

“It’s nice for men like that to just have sex whenever they want with whomever they want,” she said.

Handler’s diss comes a week after the former football player, 48, was spotted at a New Year’s Eve party with Earle in St. Barths. The pair were photographed looking cozy as they rang in 2026 at a nightclub.

“Alix and Tom were together the entire night on New Year’s Eve partying at a party hosted by Palm Tree Crew in St. Barths,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively earlier this month. “They met through mutual friends who were also in St. Barths and had an instant connection. There was a lot of chemistry between them.”

While Earle and Brady appeared to have a flirty dynamic, the insider maintained that the influencer is not in a rush to date anyone new. Weeks before New Years, Us confirmed Earle split from boyfriend Braxton Berrios.

“It’s nothing serious between her and Tom, but they were together laughing, dancing and partying, enjoying themselves,” the source added, noting that Earle “needed” a fun trip following her split.

Ahead of her New Year’s getaway, Earle addressed her and Berrios’ break up.

“Braxton and I are no longer together,” she shared in the December 2025 video. “We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t got to see each other that often. It’s just been really difficult for me.”

Handler is not the only person to publicly diss Brady. Sports commentator Skip Bayless, one of Brady’s most outspoken supporters, slammed the athlete for decisions he’s made since his 2023 retirement.

Eli Manning Trolls Tom Brady for Posting Fish Thirst Traps: ‘Cute Minnow’

“He’s now a crucial minority owner with a majority opinion of the Raiders. And he’s actually their chief advisor, sort of their unofficial GM,” Bayless explained during a January episode of “The Skip Bayless Show.” “And that really offended me because you can’t be a Fox broadcaster [or]commentator and do your job correctly if you’re going to choose to own a big slice of the team that’s worth $300 million. It’s just ridiculous.”

Bayless added that Brady was unimpressive as a broadcaster and doing strange advertisements.

“He’s so blah, he’s terribly blah. It’s all captain obvious, silly, lame. He tries to be funny, it’s just goofy. He’s not cut out to be a broadcaster to start with, and they’re trying to prop him up,” he continued. “Now popping up in the middle of my games is Tom Brady doing Pizza Hut delivery boy commercials. He’s delivering, ‘Hut hut!’ He’s doing his football cadence. It’s pathetic. Do you really need to stoop to that, Tom? He’s as unsuccessful post-football as he was successful during football. That’s what’s happening to Tom Brady.”

Aaron Paul Reveals He and Wife Moved to France After Deadly L.A. Wildfires

Aaron Paul has joined the many actors who have decided to leave Los Angeles behind.

“When the fires happened in L.A., we just knew that we were done with L.A., so we sold our house in L.A. and moved to Paris,” the Breaking Bad actor, 46, told the Daily Mail while attending The Only at 1850 by American Express party during the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix on Friday, November 21.

“Paris is awesome,” Paul told the outlet, adding that he moved there with his wife, Lauren Paul, and their two young children.

“We went out there for the kiddos,” he added, before exclaiming that he and his wife “always dreamed of doing a year abroad.”

“We just always wanted to be around a completely different culture,” he said.

Lone Stars: Glen Powell, Christine Quinn and Other Celebs in Texas

In January, multiple wildfires broke out in and around the Los Angeles area, destroying over 18,000 structures, burning more than 57,5000 acres and killing upwards of 440 people, including indirect deaths from smoke exposure. The wildfires are believed to have cost anywhere from $28 billion to $53.8 billion.

In July, People reported that Paul put his Los Feliz home on the market, listing the three bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home for $10 million. The home — designed by famed architect Stiles O. Clements and previously owned by Robert Pattinson, Tim Curry, Noah Wyle, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Jim Parsons — sits on 1.5 acres and combines “preserved period detail with refined inferior updates,” according to the listing.

“Aberdeen has been a safe haven for my family and we feel so lucky to have experienced so much life here over the years,” Paul said of his former home in a statement to People at the time. “We will forever hold this home and its history close to our hearts.”

Paul is just the latest Hollywood A-lister to leave the U.S. for a life across the pond. Both Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O’Donnell have decided to relocate to Europe in the wake of Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential victory.

“I’m happy. Clay is happy. I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home, and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country,” O’Donnell said in a TikTok video detailing her move to Ireland and the reason behind it. “And when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back.”

DeGeneres, for her part, also admitted that politics played a role in her decision to move to the U.K. with her wife, Portia de Rossi.

Angelina Jolie ‘Is Ready for Her Next Chapter’ — Away From Hollywood

“We got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, ‘He got in,’” she said while speaking to English broadcaster Richard Bacon back in July. “And we’re like, ‘We’re staying here.’”

In April, O’Donnell opened up to Us about her surprise over DeGeneres’ reason for relocating overseas.

“I’ve never really known Ellen to say anything political in her life, so I was surprised to read that she left because of President Trump. Like, that shocked me, actually,” she exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “I’ve been a political person my whole life, no better or worse, it’s just a different way to be in the world. I was very clear about the reason why I was leaving, and I don’t think it came as a surprise to anyone. We’re not really in each other’s worlds, and it’s been kind of awkward but you know what? I wish her the best. I wish that she has peace and love in her life and that she is OK.”

Convicted Child Rapist Steven van de Velde Denied Visa for Championship

A Dutch beach volleyball player convicted of raping a 12-year-old child has been denied entry in Australia ahead of a coveted worldwide competition.

Steven van de Velde, 31, was scheduled to represent his country at the upcoming Beach Volleyball World Championships in Adelaide, South Australia, from November 14 through the 23.

The BBC reported Van de Velde was refused entry on October 27.

“We took into account that the combination of the Australian authorities’ policy and my past might pose a problem for obtaining a visa,” van de Velde reportedly said in reaction to authorities denying his entry, per The Athletic. “This outcome is not only unacceptable to me, but also to the rest of the team with whom we have been working closely all year.”

In 2016, van de Velde was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of raping a 12-year-old girl in 2014, when he was 19. The athlete spent a total of 13 months in prison, 12 of which were served in the United Kingdom before he was transferred to the Netherlands, where he was resentenced to a shorter term. He was released from prison in 2017.

Heleen Crielaard, the technical director of Dutch volleyball association, said the organization was “aware this could happen” and had made sure “all the documents requested by the Australian authorities” were submitted ahead of time, The Athletic reported on October 27.

“Unfortunately, we have now been informed that the decision has been made not to grant the visa,” she added. “We regret this, but we have no choice but to accept the decision.”

The volleyball player’s teammate Alexander Brouwer will also be unable to compete in the international event.

Van de Velde rose to beach volleyball stardom in 2011, when he won the Under-20 Dutch National Championships. He also represented the Netherlands in the 2015 European Games.

The athlete’s entry into the country was opposed by South Australia’s Attorney-General Kyam Maherd, who wrote in a letter to the Australian government that his crimes were “utterly abhorrent” and that “we do not believe that foreign child sex offenders should be granted entry to this country.”

Australia’s Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke also told the BBC that the country will “continue to use every tool we have available to ensure that Australians can be safe and feel safe in their communities.”

Van de Velde previously represented the Dutch team at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, his inclusion sparking anger among many sports fans.

“I definitely had a quitting-moment, both before the tournament and during it,” van de Velde told the Dutch broadcaster NOS in August 2024 of the fervent backlash. “But I thought: ‘I’m not going to give others the power to bully me away or get me away.”

The volleyball player was booed by some in the crowd during competitive play — a response he said he understood, to a degree.

“Do you want somebody with a history? Can he stand on the podium? That is a legitimate question to ask … [but] I’m not the person I was 10 years ago. I can’t change what people think of me,” he said at the time. “Someone can hold me responsible forever for what happened and that’s OK because that’s what it is. It is their right, so I accept that.”

Van de Velde and his then-teammate Matthew Immers made it to round 16 of the Olympic competition before they were defeated by Brazil.

Jordon Hudson Trolls Herself on Halloween Over Bill Belichick CBS Interview

Jordon Hudson is in on the joke this Halloween.

“The costume I never seem to be able to take off,” Hudson, 24, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, November 1, sharing a mirror selfie showing off her costume, which turned out to be, well, herself.

In the pic, Hudson wore a gray Naval Academy sweatshirt with a pair of sunglasses on her head and a bright red lip. The pageant queen previously wore a similar ensemble when she accompanied boyfriend Bill Belichick to his now-infamous CBS Sunday Morning sit-down in April.

At one point during the interview, broadcaster Tony Dokoupil attempted to ask Belichick, 73, how he started dating Hudson, considering their 48-year age difference.

Before the Super Bowl-winning NFL coach could explain their introduction on a plane, Hudson interrupted, telling the reporter, “We’re not talking about this” from her perch on the side of the set.

After the interview fallout prompted speculation about Hudson’s involvement in Belichick’s career, the football pro issued a statement.

“I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning – Lessons from My Life in Football,” Belichick wrote in a statement. “Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book. Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview.”

He continued, “I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book.”

Belichick stressed that the interview veered from the preapproved topics “several times,” leading Hudson to step in to “refocus the discussion.”

“She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track,” he added. “Some of the clips make it appear as though we were avoiding the question of how we met, but we have been open about the fact that Jordon and I met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021.”

A Timeline of Bill Belichick’s Relationship With 24-Year-Old Jordon Hudson

CBS, however, denied the famed coach’s claims that certain topics were off limits when Belichick sat down with Dokoupil, 44.

“When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview,” a spokesperson for CBS News said in a statement. “There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation. This was confirmed repeatedly with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed.”

As for Belichick and Hudson, they also continue to maintain that the former cheerleader has nothing to do with Belichick’s football career. (He currently coaches the University of Chapel Hill — North Carolina team.)

“I stay focused on football and, some of the other opportunities that come along, Jordon looks at those and can dig into them a little bit deeper,” Belichick said on “The Pivot” podcast in May. “What she does is help me spend my time on football, and that’s what’s important to me.”

He concluded, “Jordon has her own businesses and she’s savvy in those. I’m football and I let her help me with business.”

Football: PSG defender Achraf Hakimi named top African player in French league

He is one of Paris Saint-Germain’s star players and this award only bolsters his reputation as a football great.

PSG defender Achraf Hakimi has been voted the top African player in the French league, after helping his club win its 13th Ligue 1 title and reach the Champions League final.

The 26-year-old Moroccan won the Marc-Vivien Foé award on Sunday, ahead of Nice forward Evann Guessand, from Ivory Coast, and Senegalese midfielder Habib Diarra, who plays for Strasbourg.  Hakimi had already been nominated for the award last year.

The prize is named after Cameroon player and two-time African champion Marc-Vivien Foé, who collapsed and died on a football field in France in 2003 at 28 years old.

“It makes me very proud to see all the work I’ve achieved over the years rewarded with this prize. I’m really happy”, Hakimi told French broadcaster RFI, which awarded him the prize.

Hakimi, who joined the French club in 2021, is widely regarded as one of the best right-backs in the world. He has scored 4 goals and made 6 assists in the French league this season.

The vice-captain of the PSG has retained industry and popular support despite being indicted on rape charges in March 2023. A woman who was 24 years old at the time accused Hakimi of raping her in his home.

Hakimi has denied the accusations and denounced an “extorsion attempt.”

He is the second defender to win the Marc-Vivien Foé award after Congolese player Chancel Mbemba two years ago.  He’s also the fourth Moroccan, following Marouane Chamakh in 2009, Younès Belhanda in 2012 and Sofiane Boufal in 2016.

There will be no break for Hakimi as the PSG prepares to play the French Cup final against Reims on 24 May, and the Champions League final against Inter Milan on 31 May .

Hakimi is also likely to continue shining with his national team, especially during the next Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Morocco in December.

Rwanda in talks with Washington to receive immigrants deported from the United States

Rwanda announced on Sunday that it is holding talks with the Trump administration on a possible deal to receive immigrants deported from the United States.

Rwandan Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe told the state broadcaster Rwanda TV that discussions were “in the early stages”, according to Reuters.

“It has not yet reached a stage where we can say exactly how things will proceed, but the talks are ongoing”, Nduhungirehe said.

The announcement came after multiple news reports that the US is looking for international partners to deport people.

In April, the US already deported to Rwanda an Iraqi man accused of working for ISIS, according to Reuters.

American president Donald Trump has vowed to carry out the “largest deportation operation” in US history. More than 250 Venezuelan and Salvadoran men have been deported to a prison in El Salvador in recent months, over their alleged involvement in gangs.

Donald Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to justify these deportations. The law gives the president wartime powers and allows noncitizens to be deported without due process.

The Trump administration is also targeting student activists and legal immigrants. This expulsion campaign is facing legal challenges from American federal courts.

CNN reported that the US is considering sending migrants with criminal records to Rwanda and Libya.

In recent years, Rwanda has tried to position itself as a destination for Western countries to deport unwanted migrants. Kigali signed an agreement with the United Kingdom in 2022 to take in thousands of asylum seekers.

The deal fell through after British and European courts stopped scheduled flights on human rights grounds.

The United Nations refugee agency warned there was a risk some migrants sent to Rwanda could be returned to the countries they had fled. Kigali has denied this claim.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer permanently scrapped the deal after he took office in 2024. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said the scheme cost the UK £700 million (about €821 million) with just “four volunteers” being sent to Rwanda.

Suspect arrested after Uppsala shooting that killed three, injured several

The Swedish police arrested a suspect on Wednesday, linked to the shooting that claimed the lives of three people and injured several others the previous night.

The shooting took place on Tuesday night in Uppsala, a city near Stockholm. Police later launched a manhunt after the perpetrator fled the scene.

According to the police, they have not yet identified the motive of the attack and further indicated that the incident was not an act of terrorism or a hate attack.

However, according to the public broadcaster SVT, one of the deceased is a man who was under investigation for plotting an attack targeting a relative of gang leader Ismail Abdo.

Sweden has grappled with gang violence for years, with frequent shootings and bombings.

The mass shooting on February 4, 2025, at Campus Risbergska in Örebro, Sweden, profoundly impacted the immigrant community.

The attacker, Rickard Andersson, a 35-year-old Swedish national, killed ten individuals before taking his own life. Most victims were immigrants striving to build new lives in Sweden.
