David and Victoria Beckham No Longer Following Son Brooklyn on Instagram

David and Victoria Beckham seemingly aren’t keeping up with their oldest son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham’s Instagram updates these days.

Amid reports of a family rift, David, 50, and his wife Victoria, 51, are no longer following Brooklyn, 30, or his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, on Instagram as of Saturday, December 20. The unfollowing spree appears to be mutual as Brooklyn and Nicola aren’t following David or Victoria either.

David and Victoria do still follow their two other sons, Romeo Beckham and Cruz Beckham, while their youngest child, daughter Harper Beckham, does not yet have an Instagram.

Brooklyn does still follow an Instagram account for his brother Romeo’s photography but he has unfollowed his brothers’ official accounts. Nicola also does not follow either of her brothers-in-law.

Us Weekly has reached out for comment.

David and Victoria have reportedly been on the outs with Brooklyn since shortly before his and Nicola’s 2022 wedding. There was reportedly lingering tension because Nicola chose to wear a couture Valentino dress instead of one of her fashionista mother-in-law Victoria’s designs.

Us reported in May that the newlyweds were also upset over wedding guest Marc Anthony’s performance as part of their first dance as a married couple.

“The dance was a meaningful centerpiece planned just for the couple,” a source close to the family exclusively told Us. “It was a generous gift from Marc Anthony that the Peltz family put significant time and resources into, including staging and a live band at their home.”

In the middle of the dance, Anthony, 57, reportedly brought close friend Victoria on stage and referred to her as “the most beautiful woman in the room,” which allegedly led to Nicola leaving her wedding in tears.

“It’s sad and inexplicable that such a special moment was hijacked,” an insider told Us. “But, Marc Anthony had no ill intentions.”

Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent when David celebrated his 50th birthday in May. A source subsequently told Us in October that Brooklyn was not interested in fixing his relationship with his family.

“Brooklyn has no interest in mending things at this time,” the insider shared. “He’s really focused on living a peaceful, drama-free life with Nicola. They’ve built their own world together and are very content in it. They want to let things settle naturally rather than trying to fix something that still feels tense.”

Us learned that there is still “a huge rift in the family” that has extended to Brooklyn falling out with his younger brothers.

“The relationships are all still strained,” a source revealed to Us.

Brooklyn only offered a brief answer when asked about his family drama at the Ryder Cup Celebrity All-Star Match in September.

“Everyone is always going to say rubbish,” Brooklyn told the Daily Mail. “I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It’s good fun.”

Asked how he navigates headlines about his famous family, Brooklyn replied: “There’s always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife.”

“Me and her, we just do our thing,” he added. “We just keep our heads down and work. And we’re happy.”

David and Victoria have not publicly commented on rumors of discord within their family.

More recently, it appeared that there may be a breakthrough when Victoria shared her mother Jackie Adams’ holiday decorations, where there was a stocking hung for Brooklyn alongside his siblings.

Weezer Bassist’s Wife Breaks Silence After Being Shot By Police

Weezer bassist Scott Shriner‘s estranged wife, Jillian Lauren, has revealed that her “world fell to pieces” after being shot by police in Los Angeles in April.

“It’s like, you spend your whole life just getting an entire deck of cards in order. And just take them and throw them up in the air one day, and I’m still waiting to see how they’re gonna land,” Lauren, 52, told Rolling Stone in an interview published on Saturday, December 20.

Lauren was arrested for attempted murder in Los Angeles in April after a tense standoff with police. LAPD officers were in the area investigating a hit-and-run suspect from the previous day.

According to police, officers witnessed Lauren allegedly “armed with a handgun” outside a “neighboring residence,” leading to a showdown in the backyard.

“The officers ordered [Lauren] to drop the handgun numerous times. However, she refused,” the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement at the time. “[Lauren] then pointed the handgun at the officers and an officer-involved shooting occurred.”

Lauren allegedly ran into the home after being shot in the arm, with police later recovering a 9-millimeter handgun from the property. The author was arrested for attempted murder and eventually released from custody on a $1 million bond.

The Everything You Ever Wanted writer has now told Rolling Stone that she spent her time in a holding cell memorizing graffiti on the walls.

“It gave me a chance to get out of my head for those hours in the jail cell and imagine who else had been there,” she remembered. “In the throes of it, I was saying I will never do a book about this because I can’t experience this again.”

Prosecutors eventually decided to charge Lauren with negligent discharge of a firearm and assault with a semiautomatic weapon.

Lauren pleaded not guilty but later agreed to undergo a two-year mental health diversion program. At the time, her lawyer Hilary Potashner publicly thanked the district attorney for “carefully reviewing this matter” and settling on a “fair” solution.

Looking back on the ordeal, the Some Girls: My Life in a Harem author said that she agreed to enter a diversion program “to protect [her] family.”

“When the headlines came out, my joke was, ‘I’m not just a gun-toting criminal, now I’m a crazy one,’” she joked. “My PTSD is a very real thing. I’m a victim of sex trafficking and domestic violence. … When the headlines said ‘Mental Health Diversion,’ what I really thought was, ‘OK, good. People are so scared to talk about this … I’m in a position where I can speak to it.’”

Shriner, 60, told TMZ shortly after his wife’s arrest that the couple were “alright” despite going through “a tough time.”

However, Us Weekly reported on December 2 that Lauren filed for divorce from Shriner after 20 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Lauren admitted to Rolling Stone that the media coverage of her divorce was actually more traumatizing than “headlines” about her arrest.

“The headlines about the divorce were the ones that really hurt me,” she said. “I was the one who served my husband, but still, to see it in the public was really painful. It was definitely a day [spent] under the covers, blocking out all the noise. Divorce is painful, I don’t care who you are.”

As for where the estranged couple stand now, Lauren explained to the publication that Shriner is “still [her] best friend” but they “grew apart” as a couple.

“We still have beautiful kids together and have always really supported each other in our various transformations,” she added.

Us has reached out to Shriner for comment.

Shriner and Lauren got married in November 2005 and later adopted Tariku in 2007 and Jovanni in 2009.

“And that’s a wrap,” Taylor, 31, revealed via Instagram on Saturday, December 20. “I never experienced anything like this.”

Bachelor Nation fans got some behind-the-scenes photos in Taylor’s post, including a sneak preview of her promo shoot. There was even a hilarious shot of Taylor flipping the double middle finger during an interview session.

“Can’t wait to talk all about [The Bachelorette], share it, show it,” the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast member teased. “Such a passion for what goes into something like this. Feeling so grateful to be part of the bachelor nation family and crew. I left the most ‘me’ picture [her flipping the middle finger] for last. This will be worth the wait, stay tuned coming in March.”

The reality star has received some advice throughout production of The Bachelorette. In October, Taylor’s mom, Liann May, warned that she will be “so pissed” if her daughter has sex with multiple men during the Fantasy Suites phase.

“I will be so mad,” Liann declared on iHeartRadio’s “Almost Famous” podcast. “I mean, she doesn’t really care what I think but she does, but she doesn’t. It’s just weird.”

Liann said she disagreed with her daughter’s comparison to test-driving a car before buying it.

“I hate that saying,” Liann complained. “And it’s like, I didn’t have sex with my husband until I got married and I already had her, right? I tried it that way first and then obviously I married and I’ve been married for 29 years so that is so not true. Our relationship is a great relationship.”

Former Bachelor star Hannah Ann Sluss also offered Taylor some words of wisdom while speaking exclusively to Us Weekly in December.

Tom Brady Hints He Feels ‘Forever Young’ After Ex Gisele Bundchen’s Wedding

Tom Brady has seemingly offered a glimpse of his mindset amid the news that his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, has gotten married again.

Brady, 48, uploaded a selfie in his car to his Instagram Stories on Saturday, December 20, where he sported a white “Forever Young” hoodie.

“Yuppppppp 💯,” the former NFL quarterback captioned his upload, setting the post to Logic’s song “1-800-273-8255.”

While Brady did not further explain the meaning of his post, it comes hours after Us Weekly confirmed that Bündchen, 45, married her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, earlier in December.

The supermodel started dating Valente, 38, nearly a year after she and Brady divorced.

“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” Bündchen told The New York Times in March 2024, detailing the origins of her romance. “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”

Bündchen further stressed that there hadn’t been any overlap in her respective relationships with Brady and Valente.

“That is a lie. This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” she said, shutting down affair speculation. “They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

Bündchen and Valente later welcomed their first child together, a baby boy whose name has not been publicly revealed, in February. Bündchen is already mom of son Benjamin, 16, and daughter Vivian, 13, whom she shares with Brady.

“There’s definitely some challenges and there’s a lot of blessings, and I think just us as parents, we’re just trying to help them navigate a little bit,” Brady, who also shares 18-year-old son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan, exclusively told Us in 2024 about raising his kids. “There’s a lot of cool things, a lot of things that are maybe a little tricky, but you just got to deal with it all in the best way you can.”

He added, “I think giving them perspective all the time is really important. They’re kids, so we’re all human. We’re all going through stuff, so they’re going through their own set of unique experiences and you just try to give them the right perspective on the things that you’ve experienced and that you can correlate to their life.”

According to Brady, he’s hopeful that his three children will eventually find “a life of purpose.”

“As parents, we just want our kids to do better than us, and I think that’s for all of us. My parents did that for me,” the football GOAT explained at the time. “I want to try to guide my kids into a life of purpose and one that they can find their joy and happiness and create a life and a family together with someone and find things they love to do when they wake up in the morning.”

NTSB Releases New Photos From Greg Biffle’s Fatal Plane Crash

The National Transportation Safety Board has released new photos and videos from the scene of the crash that killed NASCAR driver Greg Biffle and his family, among three others, as the investigation continues.

“Our representative with the National Transportation Safety Board disaster assistance division is continuing to work with the family members and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this accident,” said NTSB board member Michael Graham in a press conference on Saturday, December 20. “And I want to thank the family members who have been assisting our team during this terrible time.”

The new look at the scene shows Graham and NTSB staff searching the debris, and includes a photo of a staff member with the cockpit voice recorder.

Graham said the recorder was retrieved during the team’s search and that investigators are currently “attempting to extract that information.”

At this time, Graham said the NTSB is continuing to search for “perishable evidence” and any other clues that will shed more light on the cause of the accident.

“We do not know the circumstances that led the aircraft … to return to the airport but that is the focus of our investigation,” Graham said.

He added, “Early indications from multiple sources indicate that the airplane was stable on approach, configured for landing with the landing lights on, but the aircraft was coming in low.”

Those reports, he said, are “consistent with the debris field our team continues to survey.”

Graham also shared that the NTSB has the plane’s maintenance log in its possession as of Saturday.

There is still no information on who was flying the aircraft at the time of the accident, Graham said, but he confirmed the report from Friday, December 19, that a passenger on the plane texted a family member on the ground.

According to Graham, the text read, “Emergency landing.”

“This morning, I can confirm that the NTSB is aware of one brief text from a passenger on board the aircraft to a family member,” Graham said. “We are not aware of any other communications from passengers on board the aircraft to those on the ground.”

Biffle’s Cessna C550 plane crashed and burst into flames on Thursday, December 18, soon after takeoff at Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina.

The business jet was supposed to fly to Sarasota, Florida, before taking off on a second leg to the Bahamas. The aircraft was then scheduled to fly to Fort Lauderdale before returning to North Carolina.

“At approximately 10:15 am, an aircraft crashed while landing,” airport officials told The Charlotte Observer in a statement. “Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is en route and will investigate the incident.”

It was later confirmed that, along with Biffle, his wife, Cristina Grossu, and his two kids were on board when it crashed. Three other people were killed in the accident: Dennis Dutton, his son Jack and Craig Wadsworth.

Biffle was a highly-decorated NASCAR driver with more than 50 wins throughout his career. He was named one of the 75 best NASCAR drivers in history in 2023.

NASCAR released a statement after the accident on Thursday, honoring Biffle and the other victims of the crash.

“NASCAR is devastated by the tragic loss of Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, daughter Emma, son Ryder, Craig Wadsworth and Dennis and Jack Dutton in a fatal plane crash,” the statement read, in part. “Greg was more than a champion driver, he was a beloved member of the NASCAR community, a fierce competitor, and a friend to so many. His passion for racing, his integrity, and his commitment to fans and fellow competitors alike made a lasting impact on the sport.”

Lily Allen Brings Out Dakota Johnson as ‘Madeline’ on ‘SNL’

Lily Allen added a new wrinkle to the Madeline mythology during her appearance on Saturday Night Live.

When Allen, 40, performed “Madeline” as her second song on SNL on Saturday, December 13, she was joined on stage by Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson. Johnson’s identity was hidden by curtains throughout most of the performance, as Allen sang about having “an arrangement” with a significant other.

“Be discreet and don’t be blatant / And there had to be payment,” Allen sang. “It had to be with strangers / But you’re not a stranger, Madeline.”

Johnson narrated Madeline’s response via a text: “I hate that you’re in so much pain right now. I really don’t wanna be the cause of any upset. He told me that you were aware this was going on and that he had your full consent. If he’s lying about that, then please let me know. Because I have my own feelings about dishonesty.”

Allen was married to Stranger Things actor David Harbour from 2020 to 2024 and subsequently chronicled their separation on her fifth studio album West End Girl, which was released in October.

“I made this record in December 2024, and it was a way for me to process what was happening in my life,” Allen told British Vogue that same month. “There are things that are on the record that I experienced within my marriage, but that’s not to say that it’s all gospel. It is inspired by what went on in the relationship [and] confusion, sorrow, grief [and] helplessness.”

There has been endless speculation about repeated references to Allen’s unnamed romantic partner having an affair with a woman named “Madeline” on West End Girl.

“So I read your text, and now I regret it / I can’t get my head round how you’ve been playing tennis,” Allen sings in the “Tennis” chorus. “If it was just sex, I wouldn’t be jealous / You won’t play with me and who’s Madeline?”

On the track “Madeline,” Allen writes about confronting the other woman: “I know none of this is your fault / Messaging you feels kind of assaultive / Saw your text, that’s how I found out / Tell me the truth and his motives.”

Allen told London’s The Times that Madeline is “a fictional character,” or, more accurately, a construct of multiple people.

“I just feel we are living in really interesting times — in terms of how we define intimacy and monogamy, people being disposable or not,” she explained. “The way we are being intimate with each other is changing as humans. Lots of young women are not finding the idea of marriage or even a long-term relationship that attractive any more.”

Allen continued, “I don’t know [that] it’s necessarily bad. Lots of people from my parents’ generation stayed together forever and were miserable. You didn’t have endless choice so you may have worked at something harder. But now you don’t have to.”

Harbour, 50, has yet to comment on his separation from Allen, aside from making a brief statement to GQ in April.

“I’m protective of the people and the reality of my life,” he said. “There’s no use in that form of engaging [with rumors] because it’s all based on hysterical hyperbole.”

While not addressing his separation directly, Harbour later told Esquire UK that he was hopeful of finding “love” again.

“There’s personal stuff that I want to do, and people that I want to love, and be good to and nurture, things like that,” he said in November.
