“I knew him very well,” Clooney, 64, told Variety in an interview published on Tuesday, December 30. “He used to call me a lot, and he tried to help me get into a hospital once to see a back surgeon. I’d see him out at clubs and at restaurants.”
<
p dir=”ltr”>The Oscar-winner added that Trump’s demeanor changed once politics came into his life. “He’s a big goofball,” he told the outlet. Well, he was. That all changed.” (Trump was elected president in 2016 and again in 2024.)
Clooney, who has been an outspoken liberal in the industry, added that it’s been a “trying” time for the United States. His comments come one day after he and wife Amal Clooney, along with their 8-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, were granted French citizenship, according to a naturalization decree via French newspaper Journal Officiel published on Saturday, December 27.
The couple own a farm in the south of France, which includes 100 acres of grapes and 1200 olive trees and serves as their primary residence. The pair also have additional homes in England and Italy.
Clooney previously opened up about his decision to raise his kids on a farm after growing up on one himself in his home state in Kentucky, explaining how his perspective on a more rural life has changed over the years.
“A good portion of my life growing up was on a farm, and as a kid, I hated the whole idea of it,” he explained to Esquirein October about wanting to leave Los Angeles behind. “But now, for them, it’s like — they’re not on their iPads, you know? They have dinner with grown-ups and have to take their dishes in. They have a much better life.”
The actor noted that he was “worried about raising” his twins in “the culture of Hollywood,” a place that he felt would “never” give them a “fair shake” at a normal life.
“France — they kind of don’t give a s*** about fame,” he explained. “I don’t want them to be walking around worried about paparazzi. I don’t want them being compared to somebody else’s famous kids.”
Spending time on a farm also teaches his kids how to get their hands dirty, the actor said, recalling a time he tasked them with repainting an old property fence that had suffered from sun damage.
“At first they’re taking these little, tiny brushstrokes, boop, boop, boop,” he quipped. “And I go, ‘Nooo, paint the goddamn fence.’ And then they go crazy painting the fence and they’re covered with paint and oil and stuff.”
While officially becoming French citizens may be new for the family of four, George and Amal, 47, are more than familiar with the European lifestyle. The couple met in Lake Como, Italy, in 2013, tying the knot in Venice the following year.
Since welcoming Ella and Alexander in June 2017, the foursome have made a tradition of spending summers in their villa, which is located in the Alps of northern Italy.
In August 2022, an insider exclusively told Us Weekly that George and Amal found solace in Europe during the warmer months.
“They’re so happy and in a very good place right now,” the source said, noting that when not with their kids, George and Amal enjoyed “date nights and drives in the countryside.”
Romy’s birthday fell on Saturday, December 27, nearly two weeks to the day since her parents were found dead.
<
p class=”p1″>According to photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Romy marked her birthday surrounded by family and loved ones, including boyfriend Alex Silberberg, at a beach house in Malibu, California.
Earlier this month, The New York Times reported that Romy discovered her father’s body in her parents’ home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on December 14. Romy went to check on them after they failed to open the house’s gate for a massage therapist who arrived for a scheduled appointment.
According to the outlet, Romy’s roommate called 911 after Romy found her dad’s body. Romy reportedly did not see her mother’s body in the house and only learned of Michele’s death once paramedics arrived.
Romy’s brother Nick Reiner was arrested and ultimately charged with two counts of first-degree murder on December 16. He has yet to enter a plea and is set to be arraigned on January 7.

Despite previous claims, a source told The New York Times that Romy informed the police that Nick, 32, “lived on the property also” but “did not suggest to the authorities that her brother might be a suspect.”
Romy and her eldest brother, Jake Reiner, released a statement on December 17 after their sibling was accused of their parents’ murders.
“Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we are experiencing every moment of the day. The horrific and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something that no one should ever experience,” the statement read. “They weren’t just our parents; they were our best friends.”
Jake, 34, and Romy added, “We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences, kindness and support we have received not only from family and friends but people from all walks of life.”
As their brother faced criminal charges, Jake and Romy requested sensitivity from the public.
They concluded: “We now ask for respect and privacy, for speculation to be tempered with compassion and humanity and for our parents to be remembered for the incredible lives they lived and the love they gave.”
Days later, a spokesperson for Jake and Romy said in a Monday, December 22, statement that the siblings “remain grateful for the outpouring of love and support they have received.” They also plan to “share information about a memorial service honoring their parents at a later date.”
After Nick’s alleged involvement in the case became public, a source spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about his and Romy’s dynamic leading up to their parents’ deaths.
“Romy has been so traumatized by Nick’s behavior,” the insider told Us. “She has always been so close with her parents, and watching their constant pain over Nick has impacted her and the whole family so much.”
Just two weeks before her parents’ deaths, Romy posted photos of herself and Rob swimming in the ocean on November 29, emphasizing their strong father-daughter bond.
Simu Liu and Melissa Barrera‘s The Copenhagen Test took viewers on a wild ride that ended with several shocking cliffhangers and a surprising ending — but could there be a season 2?
In the Peacock series, which premiered on Saturday, December 27, Alexander (Liu) is introduced as an intelligence agent who found out his mind was hacked — causing outsiders to see what he sees and hears. Alexander must piece together who hacked him while trying to prove his allegiance to his own agency.
The finale concluded with Alexander creating a plan to take down the enemy. He realized that his former fiancée, Rachel (Hannah Cruz), gave him the pills that hacked his senses while his friend Victor (Saul Rubinek) engineered the experiment.
Victor ordered the Copenhagen Test but revealed it was part of a larger experiment to prove whether a human could remain loyal and could function amid a fabricated reality. Alexander saw other ongoing live broadcasts — including one that involved Michelle (Barrera) a.k.a a woman Alexander thought he met by chance but she was embedded in his life on purpose as a spy.
“Wherever the show winds up going. It is designed to be ongoing,” creator Thomas Brandon exclusively told Us Weekly. “We’re going to follow two things. Where is the technology going? How does it grow? How does it adapt? How does it evolve? How does that continue to teach us something about this moment?”
He continued: “We also know we’re telling the story of a child of immigrants. We’re telling a story about a first-generation American who has a complicated relationship to loyalty and allegiance and how far is he willing to go to do the right thing. Those are the two tracks we know we’re going on.”
Christos Kalohoridis/PEACOCK
Liu, who was born in China before moving to Canada, and Barrera, who moved to United States from Mexico, reflected on the way the show was told through the lens of an immigrant.
“Just that sense of self is important. It’s really important for us as individuals to realize all the ways that we’re manipulated and conditioned by things and systems around us,” Liu told Us. “Particularly in our upbringing, we’re taught certain things [like], ‘This country is good and that country is bad. These are the good guys and those are bad guys.’”
Liu discussed his own perspective on the concept, adding, “You grow up and you realize that history and all things are just so much more nuanced than that. So this idea of giving blind faith to a government — first of all no government is perfect. Blind faith to a government or to a country [is] weighing that against your own personal moral compass. I just think to have a strong sense of self and to know where you stand and where your sense of right and wrong is. That’s just the most important thing to stand up for what that is and to fight for it.”
The actor noted he always “really, really admired” Barrera’s ability to speak up. (Before The Copenhagen Test, Barrera was fired from the Scream film franchise following her comments about the conflict between Israel and Palestine.)
“What is funny is that most heroes of shows — of any kind of genre — whether it is thrillers or action movies, the hero is always the the person that fights the system and resists the censorship,” Barrera shared. “Or just the weird rules of, ‘You got to do this even though it’s wrong because it’s right for us and it works for our system.’ Even though it’s morally questionable, I feel like it’s just so funny to me that we see and it’s so evident when we’re watching media who we’re rooting for. It’s always the rebel that is fighting against the system. I just find it interesting.”
The Copenhagen Test is currently streaming on Peacock.
Bachelor Nation’s Jade Roper is sharing how her and husband Tanner Tolbert’s late son, Beau, was included in a faux holiday photo.
“Did the Norman Rockwell holiday trend and an extra boy was in our image, and it touched my heart, because of course Beau would want to make the family photo,” Roper, 39, wrote via her Instagram Story on Saturday, December 27, referring to the trend of users asking ChatGPT to create a family portrait.
In the image, Roper posed for the camera with Tolbert, 38, and four children beside a festive Christmas tree. Three of the children resembled the couple’s kids: daughter Emmy, 8, and sons Brooks, 6, and Reed, 5.
In a separate Instagram Story, Roper shared her correspondence, where she noted that “there should be two boys total and one girl.” As a response, a message read, “Got it — thank you for your patience, and you were totally right to flag that.”
Courtesy of Jade Roper/Instagram
While sharing the revised image without the third son, Roper noted, “But now it just sort of feels empty.”
Roper — who met Tolbert on Bachelor in Paradise season 2, tying the knot in 2016 — announced in 2023 that the couple were expecting their fourth child when she experienced a pregnancy loss.
“I’ve been struggling what to write here as I’ve been navigating a miscarriage,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “It felt like all my dreams were coming true to welcome another baby into our lives, to love and to complete our family. While our hearts are completely broken and we have been dealing with the deep and complex grief of the loss, we have been blessed to be touched by his soul or his short amount of time. I am forever changed.”
She continued, I’m currently experiencing what is called a missed miscarriage, so while his heart has stopped and he has stopped growing (for some time now), my body hasn’t released the pregnancy yet. I am hoping to do this naturally and am trusting in timing and in my body under the care of my provider.”
Roper noted that she had been carrying the pregnancy “with so much pride and cherish every moment still left with part of him,” adding that “it has also been equally as challenging and devastating.”
“So while I hold my belly here, our sweet baby’s body is resting in my womb as his soul soars,” she concluded. “We love you with every piece of our hearts, baby Beau.”
Months later, Roper shared that Beau was diagnosed with Down syndrome. While responding to an Instagram Story Q&A, Roper noted that it’s possible “his tiny heart wasn’t strong enough.”
“A lot of DS diagnoses are accompanied with congenital heart conditions,” Roper added.
In September, Roper marked the anniversary of her pregnancy loss with a tribute to Beau.
“Two years since my D&C. Two years without you sweet Beau,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, referring to a dilation and curettage. (In the procedure, the cervix is dilated in order to remove tissue from inside the uterus and is used to treat miscarriages and end unwanted or unsafe pregnancies.)
“Grief is quieter now, but it’s still here, woven into who I am,” Roper continued. “Remembering the baby I never got to hold, yet still hold in my heart.”
Local Ohio police have seized Neighbors With Benefits alum Tony McCollister’s pets in light of his recent arrest for child and animal sex crimes.
Warren County sheriff Barry Riley told TMZ on Saturday, December 27, that McCollister’s pets were confiscated during a police investigation and “are being well cared for.”
McCollister, 43, was arraigned on Thursday, December 25, according to Cincinnati’s WLWT outlet, where he was charged with pandering obscene content involving a minor and sexual conduct with an animal.
According to court documents obtained by the outlet, McCollister allegedly uploaded child sexual abuse material to a Google account and engaged in sexual activities with two dogs.
McCollister was granted $250,000 bail on Thursday and ordered to have no contact with any children or pets. His next court hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, December 30.
Tony and his then-wife, Diana McCollister, previously starred on A&E’s Neighbors With Benefits. The docuseries followed their lifestyle as swingers and was canceled in 2015 after two episodes due to viewer backlash.
“We did it for a reason. We want our story told,” Diana, who shares three children with Tony, told Cincinnati’s Fox affiliate in May 2015 of joining the reality TV show. “This is how we swing. We just want to show our side of things because we do feel like we’re happy. We have a great life. We wanted to show the other side. That we are still normal people and put all of those negative images people think of when they think of swinging to rest.”
She continued at the time, “There’s definitely ups and downs with it. Definitely harder times. Arguments and disagreements. It keeps your marriage exciting. There are no boundaries. We don’t know what we are going to do tomorrow or the next day or the day after.”

While speaking with the local newspaper, Tony reiterated how they were “happy with” their marriage after adopting a swinging lifestyle.
“Us defining marriage our way does not hurt your marriage. It does not belittle your marriage. It doesn’t do anything to your marriage,” he explained at the time. “Be happy with your marriage. We’re happy with ours. The lifestyle isn’t for everyone.”
Tony added, “You’re not going to force your spouse into it and have it end well. There are a lot of negative things that go along with this but it can be a very positive thing if you approach it in an open honest way with open honest communication.”
In the pilot episode of Neighbors With Benefits, Tony further stressed how their lifestyle wasn’t the right fit for every couple.
“What we do isn’t for everybody, and I agree with that,” Tony said in a clip, discussing his marital arrangement with a friend. “The relationship’s not working and the divorce rate’s through the roof. I think when it comes to our children it’s going to be hard to always explain [because] I don’t necessarily want this for them.”

Timothée Chalamet received a surprise 30th birthday shoutout from Susan Boyle.
Chalamet, 30, reposted a musical birthday salute from the former Britain’s Got Talent contestant, 64, after the official Instagram for his new movie Marty Supremepremiered the clip on Saturday, December 27.
“Timothée, have a lovely 30th,” Boyle told the actor before blowing him a kiss. “All the best. Love, Susan.”
Along with sharing the clip via his own Instagram, Chalamet thanked his friends and fans for the birthday love.
He wrote on Saturday, “THANK U FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES THANK U THANK U THANK U!!!!!! 🥳TIMMYTIM IS OFFICIALLY UNC 🫡 #uncletimmytim”
There is more than meets the eye to the unexpected interaction between Chalamet and Boyle. Harper’s Bazaar reported this month that Doni Nahmias, Chalamet’s stylist Taylor McNeill and Marty Supreme studio A24 came up with the idea to market jackets featuring the movie’s title and three embroidered stars.
Chalamet and A24 sent the jackets to public figures like Tom Brady, Justin and Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner, among others who the actor felt exemplified greatness. The garments went viral when celebrities started wearing them out, leading to a limited supply of black, red, blue and orange jackets completely selling out when they were released to the general public.
During Chalamet’s U.K. press tour for Marty Supreme in December, he was asked by BBC News which British celebrities were “worthy” of the jacket.
“Lewis Hamilton. David and Victoria [Beckham],” Chalamet answered. “Who else, man? [Rapper] Fakemink. Susan Boyle!”

While the interviewer could be heard chuckling at Boyle’s inclusion, Chalamet reminded him that Boyle’s star-making Britain’s Got Talent audition in 2009 broke the internet.
“She dreamt big. She dreamt bigger than all of us,” Chalamet explained. “Who wasn’t moved by that? I remember that like it was yesterday. It was like the advent of YouTube, you know?”
In her 2009 BGT audition, Boyle was initially heckled by the studio audience and scoffed at by judge Simon Cowell before singing a note. Boyle managed to win over the crowd and Cowell with her stunning rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables.
Boyle eventually finished second overall to street dance troupe Diversity on Britain’s Got Talent that year. She competed on America’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2019, where she also made it to the finals. Throughout her career, Boyle has sold an estimated 25 million albums worldwide.
The theme of “dreaming big” is crucial to the plot of Marty Supreme, as Chalamet portrays a table tennis player who defies all expectations for his career.
Following Chalamet’s public praise, Boyle confirmed to BBC News on December 17 that she had indeed received one of the Marty Supreme jackets.
“[I’m] very flattered,” she told the outlet. “Those early days were quite something, and to know that moment meant something to [him] all these years on truly humbles me.”
She added, “We all start somewhere, with a dream and a bit of hope, don’t we? We should all dream big! I wish you every success as you continue to dream your own dream. Thank you for your kindness and for remembering that moment so fondly.”
Boyle is far from the only one praising Chalamet’s performance in Marty Supreme. He has received huge award season buzz and already earned nominations from Critics’ Choice Awards and the Golden Globes.
Chalamet’s girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s mom, Kris Jenner, shared via Instagram that she too received a Marty Supreme jacket on Friday, December 26. Kris hailed Marty Supreme as the “greatest movie ever” via her Instagram Story.

Many star athletes know there’s no “I” in team and go all-out to celebrate their fellow players on holidays.
Patrick Mahomes, the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, makes sure to show his appreciation for his fellow members of the team’s offense.
“I got the o-line a gift that they got today. I got them some golf clubs, some designer luggage to take on the road and some other little things here and there that they could have,” Mahomes revealed during a December 2022 appearance on Audacy’s “The Drive” radio show. “I tried to get everyone a little something. All the o-line’s telling me they wanna golf, so I got them all custom fitted golf clubs, so hopefully they can pick up their game and they’ll be able to go out and play a few rounds with me.”
Mahomes, an avid golfer himself, upped the ante the next year. For the 2023 holidays, Mahomes gave the entire o-line customized golf carts.
“I was trying to get out of the parking lot and everybody’s just flying around [in the carts],” teammate Travis Kelce revealed during a December 2023 episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “Those things are street legal, so they’re going about 35 miles per hour.”

Mahomes gave his fellow offensive players custom golf carts in December 2023.
“I got that golf cart, the club car, at home and I’m like, ‘Man, this is sweet.’ I was thinking of [gift] ideas and I wanted to change it up from what I’ve done in past years,” he said in a Chiefs press conference. “I figured I’d get them something I really enjoy. … They enjoyed it [and] were going around Arrowhead [Stadium in them].”
He added: “They do a lot for me, so I’m gonna take care of them as well.”
In December 2024, Mahomes presented his offensive line teammates with a red Yeti cooler packed with a variety of luxurious goodies including a silver Rolex watch and Normatec Elite compression boots.
Despite being injured in the 2025 season, Mahomes still splurged on a pricey set of gifts for his Chiefs offensive line. Video shared by the Chiefs in December 2025 revealed that Mahomes bought an Aventon electric bike (retails between $1,799 and $1,999), a pair of Beats Studio Pro headphones ($349), a Hublot watch (retails between $12,000 and $25,000), a hardshell Rimowa suitcase ($1,500), white sunglasses and a Full Swing golf simulator kit (starting at $11,000) for each of his linemen.
“Christmas came early for the o-line! Shoutout to QB1 for the gifts,” the Chiefs revealed via Instagram on December 19, 2025.
Shohei Ohtani
Before the Japanese pitcher signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2023, Dodgers player Joe Kelly’s wife, Ashley, lobbied hard for Ohtani to join the team with her #Ohtake17 social media campaign. After Ohtani officially signed with the Dodgers, he gave Ashley a new car.
“It’s yours. From Shohei. He wanted to gift you a Porsche,” a delivery driver told a stunned Ashley in a December 2023 Instagram video.
Back when Rodgers played for the Green Bay Packers, he celebrated his teammates during Christmas 2017 by giving them ATVs.
“So you could call this the best Christmas gift ever. Thank you @AaronRodgers12 for this awesome @PolarisORV! These things are ridiculous,” Packers star Bryan Bulagatweeted the following May.
The ATVs came in green and yellow to match the Packers’ colors.
“Christmas gifts for the big guys done right. 🌲 🎁Can-Am Maverick X3-X turbo’s for the boys,” Rodgers wrote via Instagram on December 27, 2025.
The Steelers QB got into the giving spirit by presenting the off-road vehicles while wearing a “The Dude Abides” holiday sweater from The Big Lebowski.
Derrick Henry
The running back gave the Tennessee Titans o-line custom gold chains in December 2021. The braided chains were centered with a round “2K” medallion and a crown. The pendants had each athlete’s name, jersey number and core stats emblazoned on the back.
Christian McCaffrey
McCaffrey gave every member of the San Francisco 49ers offensive squad a fitted set of golf clubs and a bottle of tequila for the 2023 festive season.
“Any time you’re getting gifts, it’s always tough. You’ve got to get creative, you’ve got to do something that panders to everybody,” he said during a postgame press conference that December. “And I figured if they don’t play golf, they will at some point in their life, so better to be prepared than not. It’s nice to have a bag of clubs in your garage.”
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is a well-known fashion star, passing on his trendy styles to his teammates. For Christmas 2022, Hurts gave the offensive linemen Louis Vuitton duffle bags.
“Yeah, I’m not a big designer guy, [but] when we got those for Christmas, I was like, ‘That’s not bad … This is really nice,” offensive tackle Jordan Mailata said during a November 2023 episode of the “New Heights” podcast.
The next year, center Jason Kelce noted on “New Heights” that Hurts handed out white luxury watches to their teammates.
Russell Wilson
Before Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos, he never missed a beat in celebrating his Seattle Seahawks peers. In December 2019, Wilson gave the entire o-line $12,000 in Amazon stock. (Amazon is headquartered in Seattle.)
“You sacrifice your physical and mental well-being to protect me, which in turn allows me to provide care for my family,” he wrote in a letter at the time. “Now it is my turn to return the favor.”

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback gave out white Toyota trucks to the offensive line in December 2024.
“Alright, so we got five Sequoias, five Tundras,” he said in a social media video. “You guys can check ‘em out, but these are yours, so Merry Christmas. Appreciate you guys. Thanks for all you do.”

The Cincinnati Bengals QB went with a unique gifting option in 2025 by handing out authentic dinosaur, bear and mammoth fossils during a Christmas gathering at his home. ESPN reported that the Bengals’ offensive linemen were able to pick which fossil they wanted by using seniority to determine the order.
“I think it speaks to his intelligence and interests and his desire to do something unique,” Bengals center Ted Karras later told ESPN. “I thought it was really special.”
Aaron Rodgers made sure his Pittsburgh Steelers offensive linemen had a very merry Christmas this year.
On Saturday, December 27, the Steelers quarterback, 42, revealed via Instagram that he’d gifted his linemen Can-Am Maverick X3 off-road vehicles — which range in price from $19,999 to $29,000, according to Pennsylvania dealership Mosites Motorsports. Rodgers donned a “The Dude Abides” sweater from The Big Lebowski as he surprised his offensive line with the expensive gifts.
“Christmas gifts for the big guys done right. 🌲 🎁Can-Am Maverick X3-X turbo’s for the boys,” Rodgers wrote in the Instagram caption.
The footage showed Rodgers being thanked by his linemen before he decided it was time to test out their new off-road vehicles.
“Alright, let’s take them on a joy ride,” Rodgers challenged his teammates.
The dealership posted a separate behind-the-scenes look at the tremendous preparation that went into Rodgers’ surprise for his Steelers O-line. Hours before Rodgers presented the vehicles, each one had to be loaded separately onto massive trucks.
“The night before Christmas Eve, getting everything dialed in for Aaron Rodgers’ O-Line delivery,” Mosites Motorsports explained. “A lot of work goes into moments like this.”
Mosites joked that Rodgers was “rewarding the guys who protect the pocket.”
The dealership also boasted that their team helped Rodgers give “his offensive line the gift of horsepower” this festive season.
“Safe to say, [the gifts] delivered,” Mosites Motorsports declared.

Rodgers and his Pittsburgh Steelers are one game away from earning a spot in the NFL playoffs. If the Steelers manage to beat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, December 28, they will secure a spot in the AFC playoffs.
NFL QBs have definitely upped their gifting game this year. Patrick Mahomes surprised his Kansas City Chiefs offensive line with a jaw-dropping set of gifts on December 19, including an Aventon electric bike (retails between $1,799 and $1,999), a pair of Beats Studio Pro headphones ($349), a Hublot watch (retails between $12,000 and $25,000), a hardshell Rimowa suitcase ($1,500), white sunglasses and a Full Swing golf simulator kit (starting at $11,000).
The Chiefs were stunned by the lavish presents, with various players being heard saying “Oh my” and “Whoa” in social media footage shot in their locker room.
“Christmas came early for the o-line! Shoutout to QB1 for the gift,” the Chiefs shared via Instagram.
Meanwhile, Detroit Lions’ quarterback Jared Goff splurged on custom golf carts for his offensive line. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow went with a more eclectic choice by giving out authentic dinosaur, bear and mammoth fossils for the holidays.
ESPN’s Bengals reporter Ben Baby revealed that Burrow, 29, invited offensive linemen to his home on December 22, where he had the fossils displayed. Each lineman was invited to pick a fossil to take home with them, with the order determined by seniority.
“I think it speaks to his intelligence and interests and his desire to do something unique,” Bengals center Ted Karras told ESPN on Friday, December 26, of Burrow’s presents. “I thought it was really special.”
As for Rodgers, his pricey gifts follow a contentious week for the Steelers QB after he was caught on a hot mic disparaging Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell about his age after a play on December 21.
“Oh, you don’t want me to help pick you up? Why?” Rodgers was heard asking Campbell, 22, in between plays. “‘Cause you’re slower than a 42-year-old. Is that why? You’re slower than a 42-year-old?”
Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers ultimately beat the Lions 29-24.
The Huludays aren’t quite over on Hulu just yet, as the selection of films and series on the site’s top 15 list is dominated by Christmas flicks to a ridiculous degree.
At the moment, the first two Home Alone movies are occupying the No. 1 and No. 2 slots. But since Christmas has passed, we have other recommendations in mind.
Watch With Us‘ three popular movies and TV shows to binge-watch this weekend only include one Christmas-adjacent film.
Our other picks include a newly arrived film from theaters and a TV show for anyone who loves science fiction.
The Life of Chuck is a Stephen King adaptation that’s very different from his horror stories or serious dramas that have made it to the screen before. Instead, this is more like a fantasy that surrounds Charles “Chuck” Krantz (Tom Hiddleston), an ordinary accountant who is somehow the most important man in the world during the final days of existence itself.
Chuck’s life is explored in reverse order, as Jacob Tremblay, Benjamin Pajak and Cody Flanagan play him at earlier stages in his life. In the present, Marty Anderson (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and his ex-wife, Felicia (Karen Gillan), are mystified by the tribute messages to Chuck even as the world is overcome by natural disasters. Who is Chuck, and why is he such a pivotal figure? You’ll find out if you watch it.
If you’re old enough to remember when the concepts of The X-Files were new and amazing, then Fringe might be the show for you. This series debuted on Fox 17 years ago, but its approach to episodic and serialized storytelling still feels modern. This show also shies away from any supernatural or paranormal incidents in favor of mad science unleashed on a world that isn’t ready for it. Anna Torv plays FBI Agent Olivia Dunn, a woman who is assigned to the agency’s Fringe division to investigate unexplainable crimes against science and humanity.
To make sense of her new cases, Olivia negotiates the release of Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble), a man who created many wild innovations before he was institutionalized. Walter’s estranged son, Peter (Joshua Jackson), reluctantly joins Olivia’s Fringe team as well. And Peter turns out to be far more important to the unfolding mysteries than anyone initially suspects, including Peter himself.
Die Hard is currently one of the only non-traditional Christmas movies in Hulu’s top 15. But unlike the other movies, we can watch John McClane (Bruce Willis) kick terrorist butt any day of the year. This film is closing in on its 40th anniversary, and yet it still puts many modern action flicks to shame with its thrilling sequences, compelling characters and memorable performances from Willis and the rest of the cast.
The late Alan Rickman is particularly riveting as Hans Gruber, the leader of a group of terrorists/thieves who seize control of Nakatomi Tower on Christmas Eve. All of the company’s employees are taken hostage, including John’s estranged wife, Holly Gennaro-McClane (Bonnie Bedelia). By sheer luck, John eludes capture and alerts the police about the hostage situation. But with no help forthcoming from the LAPD, this New York cop is going to take matters into his own hands.
Ramirez, 33, took to Instagram on Sunday, November 9, to share a carousel of photos from the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala, which took place the day prior in West Hollywood, California. Among the snaps from the evening were two selfies with Alba, 44.
In one image, the Honey actress wrapped her arm around her boyfriend’s shoulder as they smiled at the camera, while the other selfie showed Ramirez leaning in close to Alba and laughing.
The couple attended the event wearing matching black ensembles. Alba sported a simple, strapless gown with a silver Cartier choker necklace, while Ramirez opted for a tuxedo and bow tie. They were photographed with a few friends at the gala, including Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom and Raising Cane’s CEO Todd Graves.
“What a remarkable evening by the entire @baby2baby team and all who donated. $19.5 million raised in minutes! Helping baby2baby support for children across America and continue their vital work providing essentials to families in need. ❤️🔥,” Ramirez captioned his post.
Fans gushed over Alba and Ramirez in the comments section, with one user writing, “It’s like you 2 have always been together 🙌🙌❤️❤️.”
“Omg I’m IN LOVE with this hard launch 😭🙌,” another fan commented.

“Okay hard launch!!!! We’ve been waiting so patiently 🥹❤️👏,” a third person added.
Nearly two weeks before the gala, Alba “soft-launched” their relationship via her own Instagram by including a subtle snap of Ramirez in a photo dump from their trip to Byron Bay, Australia. The final photo of the October 26 post showed the Fantastic Four star and the Top Gun: Maverick actor from behind as they walked down a flight of stairs.
“Oh is that your boyfriend Jessica” one fan commented on the post, while another user wrote, “It’s her man – Danny Ramirez ❤️.”
Alba and Ramirez had been spotted earlier in the week walking along the beach in the Gold Coast. Photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed Ramirez lifting Alba’s hand to his mouth and kissing it. In another sweet moment, the couple shared a hug as Ramirez kissed Alba on the cheek.

Alba and Ramirez were first linked in July after they were spotted coming home to L.A. from a trip to Cancún, Mexico. Shortly afterward, a source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that the two were “seeing” each other but “keeping things casual.”
“They were friends before it turned romantic,” the insider shared, adding that they “have a lot of mutual friends.”
Alba and Ramirez have since been spotted out together a handful of times. They made their red carpet debut alongside a group of friends at the premiere of Valentina at the Mill Valley Film Festival in California in early October.
Alba’s romance with Ramirez comes 11 months after she announced her split from husband Cash Warren, with whom she shares kids Honor, 17, Haven, 14, and Hayes, 7. She filed for divorce from Warren, 46, in February, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and listing their date of separation as December 27, 2024.
Amid Alba’s romance with Ramirez, Warren has been spotted with Hana Sun Doerr and Seanna Pereira.
“Jessica and Cash had conversations about dating other people while going through their separation, and agreed they were both fine with it,” a source exclusively told Us in August.
Warren expressed support for Alba’s relationship in an interview with TMZ in late July, telling the outlet, “I’m happy for her. I don’t know him, but he seems like a good guy.”
Additionally, when asked if he had been dating after the split, Warren said, “No, let me know if you got anybody.”
