“We are integrating with two organisations that have a common goal of ensuring sustainability of the agriculture sector as it continues to contribute positively towards the economy.

“At TNM plc, we appreciate the value that agriculture contributes to the overall economy; hence, our keenness to support initiatives earmarked to develop the sector,” he said.

ACE chief executive officer Kristian Moller said the innovation is critical to value- added agriculture, adding that farmers are equipped with modern ways of production.

“Through Zaulimi App, we are providing relevant support and skills required by farmers who want to build or take their farming productivity to the next level.

“In addition, we are giving farmers relevant information to help them become large-scale and meaningful enterprises.”

Welthungerhilfe deputy head of project Amos Ambali thanked TNM plc for joining the fight to eradicate hunger through technology.

Zaulimi App was developed by ACE and Welthungerhilfe to fill the existing gap due to the inadequate extension officers in Agriculture.

The App provides farmers and extension workers with information on agriculture production and marketing.

The App is free data model for easy usage.
