LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Work on the much touted concert of choosing Mr. and Miss Valentine organized by Top City Entertainment which is to turn out on February 15 at Grand Palace Hotel in Mzuzu has turned down the performance for an Urban Artist, Charisma.
A courtesy of the audio message from It’s DJ Sarbwoofer one of the organizers at Top City Entertainment which Charisma received on February 10, the artists who was to perform at the Valentines concert, says there was a fault from the venue (Grand Palace Hotel) after the auditions that took place on
Saturday.
They said the management the of the venue told them to opt for one artist from the in the midst of artists they had because the management said they did not want to have much blast.
Then, Top City Entertainment chose a Dancehall artist known as Jay Jay Cee to perform at the concert.
But, according to Top City Entertainment told Charisma that they will plan for another event so that he should perform.
Speaking to Charisma on Thursday he said his mouth is agape and displeased about it.
“Honestly I can’t do anything about it, I am distressed because I have been refusing to perform at other shows because of this event, but to no avail,” complained Charisma.
He said he doubts if he will take up the next show they are planning to host.
“I doubt,” explained Charisma while nodding his head,“They don’t know my plans so they can’t just say I should perform at the next show who knows may be I will be booked.
“Plus the blame is on them not me because I sold myself to them but they chose not to fulfill it, so for me I doubt if I will be able to administer myself to perform at their next show because I can’t predict on the day of the show as I also do not know who will book me next,” Charisma said.
