BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-As the 2019 tripartite elections are three months away, Umodzi Party (UP) says it will launch its manifesto on 2 March 2019.
Umodzi Party Director of Publicity Sadana Bakili, announced the plan to journalists at a press briefing at their head office in Limbe.
Bakili said the event will start at 09:00 am at Robins Park in Blantyre.
“Umodzi Party is going to launch it’s manifesto on 2 March 2019 and we have invited other political parties and stake holders to attend the occasion,” said Bakili.
She added that Umodzi Party is a party which is the first to launch it’s manifesto.
” Umodzi Party has MPs and councilors who are contesting in various districts in the country,” she said.
“The manifesto is fully equipped as it is covering all sectors be it agriculture, Education, Health etc,” she said.
Speaking on the same, Director of Security Bamusi Chaima said UP is the only party which is ready for the 2019 tripartite elections.
