LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)- Unknown assailant has killed a three year-old girl with albinism in Kasungu by stabbing her before chopping off her arm.
Kasungu Police Spokesperson Joseph Kachikho says the incident happened last night at around 23:00hrs at Mawawa Village Traditional Authority, (T.A) Chulu in the district.
Kachikho says it is reported that the girl, Talandila Chirwa, had been sleeping in the same bed with her grandmother on the night, when an unidentified man forcibly broke into the house and stabbed the child on the neck.
The assailant is then said to have chopped off the child’s arm before going away with it.
Meanwhile, police are hunting for the suspect.
