The Minister of Homeland Security’s comments that attacks on persons with albinism have not reached crisis levels will only embolden those perpetrating the assaults and are a disturbing reminder of the government’s inaction on the issue, Amnesty International said today.

What Dausi has said is RIGHT and spot on. The problem is that this issue is being politicised and APAM should be ashamed for allowing itself to be used for political reasons. Albino killings are being done by parents and relatives which makes it difficult for state agencies including police to deal with. What needs to be done is all of us working together – civic educating people who believe that selling albino bones will make them rich.
