The madness that is happening in South Africa needs to come to an end quickly. It seems to me that the dream of a United Africa is going up in Xenohatred flames. For this reason, all Africans must stand united to fight this scourge. From what we see, the South African government is making the kinds of statements that instead of dealing with the tribalism and Xeno-hatred, add to the flames. Perhaps its time that the AU took a clear and strong position on the matter.
Other African countries should stand by silently this as tribal domination begins its bloody reign. Although at first glance all this may appear sporadic, a closer look suggests that there may be a hidden hand behind the violence and looting. The events are far too organized. The question then becomes to what end?
Is South Africa being systematically destabilized as Ukraine was, with the fig leaf in this instance being tribalism and Xeno-hatred? If it is then it begs deeper questions about South Africa’s relationship with Russia and the deal that was struck to engage in nuclear power. One must bear in mind that Iran was also destabilized in a similar manner when it too chose the nuclear path and one must ask; is the same happening in South Africa? If this is the case, the question then becomes who are the proxies of Empire and who stands to benefit?
When listening to those in power in South Africa, one hears meaningless phrases that also seem to have elements of Xeno-hatred and one wonders why? Why isn’t there an outright condemnation of something that is, even to the blind, obviously wrong and Anti-African. Has empire come to pay South Africa a visit and leave it in the same shambles as Libya and Iraq? Are South African leaders playing into their hands and trading petty power; has South Africa reached the point that it is being destabilised with its own people as pawns in the global power game?
As Africans we must not lose sight of the geopolitical game that constantly is being played by the west and in that game Africa is always a pawn that can be used, bought and sold at the whim of those who play the game.
These are trying times and we as Africans, Patriots and human beings must be aware of the broader implications of what the Xeno-hatred constitutes. We must not only look at the symptoms but we must begin to look at the underlying causes and this in the geopolitical context.
South Africa has been seen as a gateway to Africa. Bearing this in mind, it can be argued that geopolitical destabilisation sees South Africa as the strategic gateway to destabilising the whole African continent. In this regard, one must ask; has the war on Africa begun and the Rwandan methodology is the one being used: pit African against African as empire consolidates its power and targets the resources it needs to fight Russia and China?
There is an African Proverb that goes like this: “when two dogs fight the third runs away with the bone”; is the third dog running away with the bone even as we speak? Is South Africa being pitted against the rest of Africa? Is this happening on our watch?
South Africa enjoyed a respected standing in the rest of Africa but now we we see this being squandered through narrow Xeno-hatred engagements. If South Africa loses this respect, how will that impact on the influence it has within the African Union and the United Nations?
As thinking Africans and feeling human beings we must bring this madness to an end or in the final analysis we will all be losers and unwitting victims of the second colonization of Africa.
Samora Machel said ” “To ensure national unity, there must be no Shonas in Zimbabwe, there must be no Ndebeles in Zimbabwe, there must be Zimbabweans. Some people are proud of their tribalism. But we call tribalists reactionary agents of the enemy”
Robert Sobukwe said ““We are fighting for the noblest cause on earth, the liberation of mankind….there is only one race, the human race. Multi-racialism is racism multiplied.”
Cheikh Anta Diop said “Africa can and will only advance through African integration, which can be realized through the Federal United States of Africa.”
If we as Africans want a strong Africa we must fight the beast of Xenoracism and fight it now. If our governments want a truly free and powerful Africa they must protect the ideal of a free and peaceful Africa where every African is safe in the hands of another African and lives in peace no matter where he or she is in the continent.
