MCHINJI(MaraviPost)-Youths in the country have been encouraged to grow profitable crops like soybeans to boost the national economy.
Speaking at the Youth Agriculture Fair in Mchinji, Precious Mkumbira, Soy For Good project manager at Agri-Value Chain, highlighted the potential of soybeans, saying the company can process 500 metric tonnes daily but faces limited supply.

On his part, Executive Director of Mlatho Farms and Agri-Learning Hub,Daniel Chibwe emphasized the importance of youths growing such crops to help eradicate poverty among farmers by 2063.
The Soy For Good project has already reached over8 25,000 people in the central region, providing access to opportunities in agriculture.
