LILONGWE -(MaraviPost)-Renowned Jamaican reggae artist Burning Spear is set to perform live in Malawi in an event jointly organized by Sound System Club and Sound Addicts Live.
The 79-year-old legendary artist is anticipated to deliver a fascinating and stunning performance at the event, slated to take place on October 26, 2024.
According to the organizers, the show is part of Burning Spear’s “One People Africa Tour”, a celebration of roots, rock, and reggae music aimed at uniting fans across the continent.
The venue for the event is yet to be announced, but excitement is already building amongst fans.
Shadreck Kalukusha, Managing Director of Sound Addicts Live and lead organizer, expressed their intention to deliver exceptional entertainment to the people of Malawi.
He added that the grouping dedicated to bring world-class performances to the audience, “Burning Spear’s event is a testament to that promise”
The reggae Icon is also set to perform in other countries including Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Kenya.
The Burning Spear show will follow Sound Addicts Live’s successful hosting of the 2024 Ku Mingoli Bash at Civo Stadium on August 3, this year.
