Kenyan Police officer Michael Siwalo found dead

MERU-(MaraviPost)-The Kenyan police officer who was identified as constable Michael Siwalo has been discovered dead in his home and his wife, Silvia Ramat Letei, bleeding with a bullet wound on the stomach on Friday night.

Police in Meru confirmed the incident in a statement on Saturday morning of 16 May 2020.

According to police, the officer is believed to have been gunned down with an AK47 rifle that was recovered in the bedroom loaded with 30 rounds of ammunition around 6pm following a domestic row at their home in Timau, Meru County.

A report by Citizen Digital revealed that the officer’s wife was found nursing a serious gunshot wound seated leaning against the wall at the main door and she was unable to explain to the officers what had transpired before she was rushed to Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Meanwhile, Police has launched Investigation to ascertain what exactly happen during the incident.
