Malawi Parliament suspends children’s commission bill

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The National Children’s Commission Bill which was at Committee stage in the House was on Thursday afternoon suspended.
This follows Member of Parliament (MP) for Lilongwe Central Lobin Lowe who introduced the Bill in the House as a Private Member’s.
MP Lowe moved a motion requesting that the Bill be referred to the  Parliamentary Committee on Social Welfare and the  Parliamentary Legal Committee for further scrutiny.
