A Malawian youth ambassador, Blessings Chiwosi, has taken Malawi to the world stage at the World Cultural Exchange Carnival organized by the China Agricultural University in Beijing.
Chiwosi, who is studying Development Studies at the university, showcased Malawi’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential to a global audience.

As a youth ambassador, Chiwosi is not only representing Malawi but also positioning the country for socioeconomic returns. He believes that tourism can play a significant role in addressing the challenges faced by Malawians, and he is committed to promoting the country’s tourism potential.
“I am representing Malawi not only because it is less popular in other parts of the world but also for positioning it for socioeconomic returns to address challenges that people face, which need innovative ways and solutions through tourism,” Chiwosi explained.
