Zutobi has published its 2026 Global Gas Prices Report, ranking fuel price changes across more than 170 countries.

Malawi ranks #1 globally for the largest fuel price increase.

Gas prices surged from $4.91 per gallon in 2021 to $13.02 in 2026, representing a 164.94% increase, the highest recorded in the report.

This places Malawi at the top of the global ranking for fuel price growth.
