BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)—Renowned Malawi’s economist and business consultant, Henry Kachaje, has withdrawn from being a co-speaker at the Christian Youth Business Empowerment Symposium slated for 28th January, 2017 at Robins Park.
Prophet Shepherd Bushiri will be the guest speaker at the event. Other speakers include Edward Chileka, Leon Matanda, Jimion Nyanda and officials from banks and Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA).
However, Kachaje who initially accepted the invitation has rescinded his decision for personal reasons, beliefs and values.

“After some sober reflecting on the invitation you extended to me to be one of the speakers at the Christian Youth Business Empowerment Symposium planned for 28th January, 2017, I regret to inform you that I withdraw my initial acceptance to be one of the speakers on the stated date for personal reasons, beliefs and values
“I remain passionate on issues to do with youth entrepreneurship and business development, and it was for this reason that I had initially accepted the invitation even before I knew the whole event set up, list of speakers and sponsors. Should another opportunity arise in future to engage with the youths on issues of entrepreneurship and business development, I will be glad to consider it. However, the current planned event will not be the right forum for me to be involved,” reads the letter in part.
Kachaje is one of the entrepreneurs who do not subscribe to “miracle money” mainly championed by the Malawian born but South Africa based prophet Bushiri who will be the guest speaker at the event.
Bushiri, who was a nobody four years ago, has accumulated unspeakable wealth whose source still remains mysterious.
