BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Jessie Kabwila, has challenged the Malawi School of Government (MSG) graduates to harness their skills and knowledge to contribute to the country’s development agenda.
Speaking at the second MSG congregation, where 439 students graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees, Kabwila emphasized the importance of innovation and progressive thinking.

The minister encouraged the graduates to utilize their education to drive positive change, emphasizing that their qualifications are not just careers but tools for designing solutions.
She urged them to embody the values of truth, service, and innovation, becoming valued human capital for Malawi’s development in line with the Malawi 2063 agenda.
On her part,Director General of MSG, Professor Asiyati Lorraine Chiweza, stated that MSG is committed to enhancing service delivery through a hybrid higher education system driven by innovation and research, among other strategies.
She highlighted that, under the directive of President, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, MSG has developed numerous programs to improve operational efficiency.
The graduation ceremony was held under the theme ‘Celebrating Professionalism and Excellence, Shaping Ethical Leaders for a Better Malawi’.
