Multitudes of expectant worshippers from across South Africa and around the world gathered at the Johannesburg Expo Centre on May 16, 2025for a powerful and life-changing encounter with God during the Holy Spirit Visitation with Pastor Evelyn Joshua. The event, hosted by the Leader of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Pastor Evelyn Joshua, was filled with the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit from beginning to end.

From the moment the event began, the presence of God swept through the massive crowd. Worship and praise filled the air, and the spiritual atmosphere was electrified with faith and anticipation. Hearts were open and ready for divine healing, deliverance, and restoration. Many who came burdened left with testimonies, declaring that their lives had been forever transformed.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua, accompanied by SCOAN Evangelists, arrived at the venue to begin what was clearly a prophetic mission. As she took the stage, the power of God was evident—chains were broken, sicknesses were healed, and spirits were lifted.

As the ministration unfolded, the Lord confirmed His Word with signs and wonders. Pastor Evelyn Joshua and the evangelists prayed for the sick and oppressed, and many received instant healing and deliverance. Afflictions bowed to the authority of Jesus Christ. What was seen at the Johannesburg Expo Centre was not ordinary—it was truly the hand of God at work.

Testimonies soon followed. People shared how long-standing issues had disappeared, how their faith was renewed, and how they encountered Jesus Christ in a deeply personal way. The echoes of revival resounded through every corner of the venue, confirming that God’s power knows no boundaries.

Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting: A Family in Faith

In another significant moment, the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting in South Africa was a time of spiritual renewal and heartfelt celebration. Partners joyfully welcomed Pastor Evelyn Joshua, who addressed them with a powerful message. She reminded them that they are vital to the ongoing mission of touching lives and changing nations—an assignment that began with the late Prophet T.B. Joshua, and which continues under her humble leadership.

Quoting Ecclesiastes 4:12, Pastor Evelyn Joshua described the partners as a “threefold cord” that cannot be broken. The meeting featured Spirit-led prayer, ministration, and the distribution of thoughtful gifts from the Emmanuel TV family.

In her words, she emphasized humility, saying, “All boasting is excluded. We cannot take credit for what we do for God—it is He who enables us.” To God alone be the glory.

Clean Water for Ga Kubu, Mafikeng

As part of her mission to meet both spiritual and physical needs, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, along with Emmanuel TV Partners, brought hope to the village of Ga Kubu in Mafikeng, a community that had long suffered from water scarcity. A brand-new borehole was commissioned, bringing clean and accessible water to the residents.

This humanitarian act reflected the heart of the Emmanuel TV mission: “Where there is need, we go.” Today, thanks to this outreach, clean water flows freely in Ga Kubu, and hope is restored.

Humanitarian Outreach to Madibe, Mafikeng

Beyond the main event, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and the Emmanuel TV team also conducted a heartfelt humanitarian outreach to Madibe, Mafikeng. Welcomed warmly by the Tshidi-Barolong king, Pastor Joshua toured the community and learned about its rich cultural heritage.

Residents received essential items including:

  • Food supplies
  • Educational materials for children
  • Bedding
  • A R100,000 donation to support community welfare

This outreach is yet another reflection of the love-driven mission of Emmanuel TV: to go where there is need, bringing help, hope, and healing.

As Pastor Evelyn Joshua concluded her 2025 revival mission in South Africa and departed the beautiful nation, one thing was clear: a revival had been ignited in the hearts of many. The memories, miracles, and moments will remain with those who attended, reminding them that when the Holy Spirit visits, nothing remains the same.

STRUGGLING WITH PROPHET TB JOSHUA’ S LEGACY

SOURCES: WATCHED TB JOSHUA

TB Joshua, the scoan, emmanuel tv
Prophet TB Joshua

The new authority in the Synagogue Church of All Nations SCOAN, in Lagos Nigeria, has published events of the burial ceremony of his founder Prophet TB Joshua. They together with the rest of us, who believe in the works of TB Joshua, are the heirs of his legacy. TB Joshua’s influence is globally evident and will shape and create a renewed Christian culture to recover Jesus’ Love and Faith-in-Action culture and faith.

How will the Church assess and inherit TB Joshua’s tall legacy?  The word of the LORD is clearly saying, “Not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the LORD of Hosts. And who art thou, O great mountain?” (Zechariah 4:6-7). By the grace of God, every mountain shall become a plain. TB Joshua has been a positive and heroic mighty man of God, teaching his followers to live by faith and not by sight. TB Joshua has been courageously confronting the unjust and murderous powers, the dark worlds, including Lucifer, the marine powers and their demons. His faithfulness in serving God despite the dangers it poses, ability to discern God’s voice, his ability to make profound sound judgements for family reconciliation, his love, charity and prayer life, etc., all make TB Joshua a hero of the Good News of Jesus.

Of course, Prophet TB Joshua’s legacy is also that of a “troubler” by his numerous foes. This generation thinks that they are entitled to live as they like, speak whatever comes out of their mouth without restrains. TB Joshua endured all name-callings and campaigns of misrepresentation of his intentions. He endured false charges levied against his person or ministry and other misrepresentations maliciously calculated to harm his reputation. He was the target of calumny for his beliefs and acts of goodwill. He was not intimidated by other supposed Christian ministries who made it their objectives not to encourage others but to criticize and condemn. Prophet TB Joshua has never been afraid of campaigns of calumny that could trouble the features of his ministry. He seems more preoccupied with providing for others and solving their difficulties rather than his own. He does not advocate for just his Church nor use violence or foul language.

In Christian history, observers have been learning that some beloved biblical figures are not always as ideal as we would like to believe. Other bible figures make themselves as the most ideal to be followed, and not even Jesus.  At this week events, we’ll say that it will be really hard to embrace the shadow side of TB Joshua. We know that Prophet TB Joshua has the power not only to heal and deliver but also to uproot and consume. However, he remained humble, giving his warnings in prophecies and teachings, and letting God do the fighting. He sees beyond his critics and he is living on. Therefore with God’s help, the SCOAN shall continue to struggle, through prayer and righteousness, to maintain TB Joshua’s legacy and achievements, as the Church looks on to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

TB Joshua Hosts Historic Meeting in Nazareth, JESUS’ Hometown

Submitted By Ihechukwu Njoku

Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua has just concluded a two-day event in Nazareth, the historic hometown of Jesus Christ.

The event tagged ‘Nazareth Meeting With TB Joshua’ was held at the Amphitheatre of Mount Precipice, a site of Biblical significance for Christians.

Thousands of international pilgrims flocked to the event in Northern Israel from over 50 nations, which was additionally broadcast live on Emmanuel TV and local Israeli television in Arabic and Hebrew.

Several prominent personalities and political figures, including the Tanzanian President John Magufuli – who was represented by his wife Janeth – were in attendance.

“I feel humbled walking in the footprints of Jesus,” Joshua told the multi-national crowd, stressing that it was “God’s design” for Jesus to come from Nazareth, which he described as “the morning of Christianity”.

In a heartfelt sermon titled, ‘We are known by our love’, the cleric spoke on the divine significance of love.

“What makes us human is not our ability to think but our ability to love. This means love is life and if we miss love, we miss life,” he exhorted the crowd, emphasising that love must be unconditional.

“If you want to love better, you should start with someone who hates you, has bad feelings towards you, who sees nothing good in you,” he stressed.

Continuing his message the following day, Joshua called on all present to “love one another irrespective of our religion or race for love comes from God”.

According to the cleric, “Love for fellow man breaks down all barriers; it melts all hindrances. Love has ears to hear the heart. It dissolves prejudices, misunderstanding and suspicion.”

Speaking practically, he added, “If we are able to overlook the failures, mistakes and weaknesses of our neighbour, then there is genuine love because there is no perfect man on earth.”

After his exhortation, the cleric began to pray individually for the thousands present at the free-entry event, many who came with various infirmities and sicknesses in hope of a miracle.

Li Gul Chua, who travelled from China, testified that she could walk freely without crutches for the first time in six years after Joshua prayed for her.

Many fell to the floor at Joshua’s touch, immediately rising to declare they were healed or delivered from ‘unclean spirits that tormented them’.

As the event neared completion, the cleric collected an offering to support the Nazareth area, further explaining how the choice of the Amphitheatre of Mount Precipice to host the unique meeting unfolded.

“I visited here three years ago and I saw this place was abandoned,” he explained, showing clips of the unkempt area, overgrown with bushes during his first visit.

“Given the Scriptural significance of this place, I was moved to contact the Mayor, Ali Sallam, and ask his permission to renovate,” he continued, stating this was Emmanuel TV’s “contribution to the place where Jesus’ father and mother came from.”

Joshua also referenced the opposition from some religious figures that accompanied the announcement of his visit to Israel, which intensified in the days leading to the event. “Even though there was rancour, it was an act of God,” he submitted.

He called on the foreign pilgrims present to make Nazareth their “second home”, encouraging them to “visit places such as hospitals, schools and other areas that need your attention and show love because the love we give away is the only love we keep.”

“This is the first time in hundreds of years we have heard the name of Jesus proclaimed publicly in Nazareth,” Pastor Hadad, a Nazarene, emotionally commented, underscoring the significance of the event in the volatile, predominantly Muslim region.

“I used to see Jesus as just a story from history we used to attract tourists,” Itay, an Israeli tour guide, bluntly stated. “Today, I saw – through T.B. Joshua – that the name of Jesus actually has power.”

News of the event reached international media, with coverage in The New York Times, Reuters and Israel’s leading newspapers Haaretz and Jerusalem Post.
