Three Nigerian teenagers arrested for beheading girlfriend, using head for money rituals

OGUN STATE-(MaraviPost)-Three teenagers in Nigeria, aged 17, 19, and 20, have been arrested after found performing money ritual with the head of a young lady in Oke Aregba area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Police officers from Ogun State Police Command arrested the three teenagers in the early hours of Saturday, 29 January, following a tip-off from the community security guard, identified as Segun Adewusi.

According to Daily Post report, the three young boys in Oke-Aregba, Abeokuta, Ogun State, lured the girl to an unfinished building in the area, where they held her down and asked one them to slaughter her with a knife.

The police informant, a security guard, who saw the boys performing the diabolic act immediately alerted the police at Adatan station, who went to the scene and arrested the three boys.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi said the boys confessed to the acts adding that one of the boys, the boyfriend to the deceased, managed to escape the scene of the incident.

The body of the deceased has been taken to a mortuary.

Commenting on the matter, the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, described the action of the suspects as the height of callousness. He has ordered a massive manhunt for the fleeing boyfriend of the victim by the name Soliu.

The suspects have been transfered to the homicide section of the state Criminal Investigation and investigations have commenced by the Intelligence Department and the boys will soon be arraigned in court.
