Why ConCourt Judges reveal Malawi President Mutharika's DPP corruption attempt

By Nenenji Mlangeni

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-As reported on Times TV that Malawi Chief Justice Andrew Nyirenda has logged a complaint to Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) forwarded to him by the Constitutional Court (ConCourt) judges that President Peter Mutharika’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has tried to bribe them not once.

This follows a letter by the Forum for Justice to the Chief Justice on allegations that UTM president met with the judiciary staff at his house in Lilongwe, the Chief Justice has reported the matter to the ACB as DPP uses that as a syndicate to bribe judges.

Reliable source told this publication that, on 2nd January, 2020, some junior court staff were called to the house of Saulos Chilima the meeting that DPP takes advantage of to buy judges to make sure that a verdict is made in their favour.

We can exclusively reveal that this did not go well with one of the people who were approached by DPP and who has total trust in the independence, professionalism and integrity of the judges who can not be bought, hence spilling the beans.

These judges have done this things for very good reasons.

My question though, in this case, has this affected the integrity of the judges and the court case
