
LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi Interfaith AIDs Association has appointed Miss Pirira Catherine Ndaferankhande as the new Executive Director.
Miss Ndaferankhande who is a holder of Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (Hons), post graduate diploma in project management and Master of science degree in Leadership and Change Management from Leeds University has worked for the faith community for a period of 12 years as the head of programs before being appointed on the new position.
She has however been acting on the assumed new position for a period of nine months before her appointment on December 1, 2019.
While with MIAA, Miss Ndaferankhande has also worked as program officer responsible for various projects supported by UNICEF, Danish Church Aid, National AIDs Commission, UNFPA, Positive Action and several others. During he tenure, she has managed to build a team professionals and led the reformation of all systems and operations within the secretariat.
