Former Malawi’s flames goalkeeper Trust Lunda dies

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Former Malawi flames goal keeper Trust Lunda died on Monday, morning August 3, 2020.

The late Lunda, Former Nyasa Big Bullets and Dwangwa United goalkeeper Trust Linda succumbed to long illness of cancer.

Dwangwa United coach Ladwell Mbetewa confirmed of the development, saying Lunda’s burial will take place today at his home in Nkhotakota District.

“Lunda had been struggling with cancer for a long time and had his leg amputated at some point because of the problem,” says Mbetewa.

For years, he was Bullets’ first choice goalkeeper and endeared himself to the people’s army (Bullets supporters) especially for saving spot kicks.
