Former Malawi’s Spy agency Chief Kenamu Kalilani’s wife arrested

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Malawi Police in Lilongwe on Monday, August 3, 2020 arrested Chimwemwe Kalilani, the wife to Kenamu Kalilani, the former Director of Intelligence Bureau.

The charges of the suspect is not yet known.

Meanwhile, Kalilani and his accomplies Chancy Chingwalungwalu, former State House Chief ICT will have to wait until August 10 2020 whether they will be granted a bail or not.

This comes after the presiding Principal Resident Magistrate Viva Nyimba has travelled to Blantyre.

The dual were expected to appear before Magistrate Nyimba for their bail application.

Kalilani and Chingwalungwalu were arrested some weeks ago for allegedly stealing government intelligence computer system.
