dismantling machinery

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi government through the Department of Environmental Affairs in Natural Resources Ministry on Wednesday, January 13,2021 took a bold decision to start dismantling Chinese own-company Qingdao, for defying the ban on production of thin plastics.

This comes barely months after Natural Resources Minister Nancy Tembo visited and warned the company on its misconduct.

The department surprised the company with machinery aimed to demolish the plant against the ban.

There was panic at the company when the dismantling machinery started it work.

Last year, Malawi’s courts sustained the government’s ban on thin plastics but some Chinese companies defied the order.

More to come on exercise…..
