Botswana President Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi dates Malawi on March 8

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President of Botswana Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi is expected to visit Malawi on Monday, March 8, 2021 for a day trip.

Rejoice Shumba, Malalawi Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson confirmed Botswana President Mokgweetsi visit to The Maravi Post, Friday evening.

Mokgweetsi who is also Chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation upon arrival will meet Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera for bilateral talks and exchange views on Southern African Development Community (SADC) related issues.

In November 2020, Chakwera was in Botswana for a day Extraordinary SADC Troika Summit of the Organ for Defence and Security.

Since ascending to Malawi Presidency in June 28 2020, Chakwera had visits to Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, Tanzania and Mozambique.
