British Company that offer tourism to Malawi is raising Funds for Flood Victims

1 Min Read

Whilst Malawi’s tourist infrastructure and lodges remain unaffected by the recent rains and floods in Malawi, many Malawians are suffering, with lives lost and many thousands made homeless; and our thoughts are with those who have been directly affected.

If you would like to make a donation to assist those in most need, please see the message below from the Malawi Association in the UK. Until the end of January, donations made through this link will be doubled by the UK government.

For those planning a holiday to Malawi, please be assured that your visits can still go ahead at this time. In fact, members of Malawi’s tourist industry are at the forefront of efforts to help flood victims so supporting them is a great way to help. With tourism being such an key generator of foreign income for Malawi, and lodges being so important to local employment and so active in community projects, the more visitors Malawi has the quicker it will recover from the disruption caused by the floods.
