LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The High Court in Lilongwe has ruled in favour of President Lazarus Chakwera and the Ministry of Local Government, Unity and Culture in a case involving Yohane Ndundu who sued the two for firing him on the position of Senior Chief Kalumo in Ntchisi District last year.
A copy of the judgement by Judge Howard Pemba made yesterday in our possession, states that Ndundu has no arguable case at all against the defendant Peter Kamvumbula who is his relative plus the President, the ministry and has since discharged the injunction granted to him last year with costs.
In the judgement, the court says after hearing from all parties involved in the case, it established that the claimant was indulging in a number of issues like corruption and unjustified removal of village heads among other reasons and was given several warnings.
Attorney General (AG) Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda confirmed the development without giving more details.
When contacted, Ndundu asked for more time saying he is not aware of the development.
