Hot on the heels of his viral video about the Malaysia Airlines MH370 crash, Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua has released another controversial video via YouTube claiming he predicted the horrific bombings that led to the deaths of 71 people in Nigeria’s capital city Abuja yesterday.
Joshua, whose MH370 clip has racked up over 900,000 views on YouTube in just one month, specifically mentioned Abuja as being a target of attack in the prophecy dated November 10th 2013.
“Listen to me, my people in Nigeria,” the popular cleric revealed to a packed congregation at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos. “Our security should be vigilant,” he warned in the service broadcast live via Christian television station Emmanuel TV. “I am seeing a very big strike, an explosion. They should take care of Abuja.”
Joshua remarked that he knew some would protest the high proportion of negativity in his prophetic utterances but stressed he could only reveal what God had told him. “When I talk, you see me in a bad light but I will keep talking. This is what I am seeing happen in Abuja. They should pray. What can they do to capture this?”
The death toll for the blast which occurred at Nyanya Bus Depot in the middle of rush hour is expected to rise with 174 injured, many critically, in the explosion.
T.B. Joshua’s name is synonymous with controversy within Nigerian Christendom yet he has a growing following including some political heavyweights in Africa. His fans on social networks Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have reached well over 1,000,000.
