The most loved player by Malawi National soccer team supporters but one who is also probably the most indiscipline player Fisher Kondowe, is one of the three players who have made it in the Malawi flames squad which is going for a five day camp in preparation for the Malawi Vs Mali AFCON qualifications game to be played at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre on 19th November. The other two players are Esau Kanyenda and Charles Swini.
The calling of the trio is perhaps an admission by the technical panel that the young dominated flames team has completely failed the Malawi nation by their mediocre performance which has resulted in a string of loses and perhaps the flames technical panel thought it wise to give chance to Veterans like Esau Kanyenda and the ‘bad mannered’ Kondowe to be in the squad perhaps they can help to pull a surprise and have the team qualify for the 2015 AFCON Edition.
In fact despite Kondowe being a good player, he has been consistently and deliberately left out of the flames squad because of what different Coaches who have presided over the team have been saying as ‘bad behavior’ from the Rasta man fondly known as ‘Jah Man’ by his fans.
