1 Min Read

South Africa, Pretoria, 7 July 2015 – Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa (JLR SA and SSA) is primed to capitalise on growth opportunities, following a restructuring of key roles at the organisation.

Brian Hastie will take up the newly created position of Network Director. This role will see him driving growth in the SA and SSA markets – including franchising; network and facility development; performance management; as well as overseeing the training and development of technicians through the Jaguar Land Rover Training Academy.

Brian joined Jaguar Land Rover as Director of Operations in 2012. He has more than 26 years of experience working at premium manufacturers, and has helped introduce two brands to the South African market.

Ensuring that South African dealers and customers remain a prime focus, Robin van Rensburg has been promoted to Sales Director for JLR SA. In this position he will be tasked with driving sales through Fleet and Business; Jaguar Land Rover’s Approved Used programme; Regional Sales Management; and Sales Planning.

Robin has brought considerable value to the JLR SA team, with more than two decades of experience in sales. Since joining as National Sales Manager in 2012 he’s helped to successfully introduce a number of new models – including the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Jaguar F-TYPE.

“With these new roles we now have a more efficient organisational structure to deliver on our Customer First promise,” said Richard Gouverneur, Managing Director of JLR SA and SSA. “This will be key to our success as we expand into Africa – and introduce exciting new products to these markets.”
