
LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Malawi High court sitting as a Constitutional court in Lilongwe will today resume hearing presidential election case.
This follows a one week adjournment. However, there are some changes which judges announced before the adjournment.
The judges said that the court proceedings will be starting at 8:30AM and not usual 9AM, to speed up the hearing of the case and that the court proceedings will be ending in late hours. When the court resumes this morning, Lawyer for DPP, Frank Mbeta will continue cross examining MCP third deponent, Peter Lackson.
The hearing of the case is expected to end on December 6 2019 and subsequently judgement will be pronounced within 45 days, according to judges.
